Are the repaints cool looking? Yes. MP-10 is a great design, obviously. But I really don't get the appeal of throwing random shoe colors on Optimus Prime. Couldn't designers come up with their own interesting takes? "Why does Optimus have tiger stripes now?" "Oh because of a shoe." Weird.
MP-10 is literally on the level of buying Nike’s. We just buy any of the ones we like and they keep making more and more.
I'd be down for the elephant convoy. I don't know about the rest though. I hope they're not planning on releasing all of these all at once
I’m not going after it but I really like that black and green one. It reminds me of the black and green version of Cy-Kill that I got for Xmas way back when. If I were getting one of these that’s the one I’d get. I even like the shoes. Tiger stripe Optimus is hilarious enough to warrant idly wanting as well. But not the shoes.
I was thinking this was the lead in figures to the GIJoe/Transformers crossover, Tiger Force Prime and Python Patrol Nemesis Prime.
The animal one looks a tad underwhelming as the third or so black Convoy from the mold but that tiger themed one looks sick actually. I'll snag these one by one most likely the same way I've snagged the other exclusive MP10s short of the green and red bapes (AKA wait for ebay coupons cuz that works every time). I kinda hope there's one more just to give us an even number of trailerless MP10s (so I can stack the boxes into two rows; yes I care about that >.>) Low key on the list of things I'm surprised we haven't gotten it's that. Granted I'd be dissapointed if they didn't give him a trailer but then again that kind of dissapointment hasn't stopped me from getting BAPE black which should have had one too. I'd love to see a tooling based on the 2005/2006 toy though.
To be clear, the Animal one is actually the one that has tiger stripes. Tiger, Leopard and Zebra are the three animals that make up the theme. (Seen most clearly on its stand) The black one is the 'Tiger' one - actually Tiger Camo:
Every fucking color but Powered Convoy and Shining Magnus!!!! hahaha These still look tits though. Really hope we get a chance to purchase all of them and they’re spaced out far enough so everyone who wants one has a chance to save up if they need to.
Well, I hope they enjoy all the Primes in Japan. I wish we would get some over here in Canada. This is gonna be too rich for my blood to get all of these.
