I love the figure, just what I was hoping to get from an upodated triple changer. And I'm really glad that its getting such a positive responce. :thumbs2:
I've been trying to digibash the shuttle mode in a way that the other modes would work well too.
    I tried several different schemes:

Yes, but what you don't see is the cyberkey-activated powerlinxing minicon partner he comes with. He doesn't interact with the Astrotrain figure at all; just insert the cyberkey and he can powerlinx with other minicons, causing hidden features to spring out.

A Tripple changer. A real honest-to-God-not-just-two-modes-with-some-wonky-third-fan-mode-thrown-in tripple changer. They love us. They really do. *sniff* :)

:lol  actually that was going to be my next question.

Blitzwing - Love the third paint scheme :thumb  but not a fan of the other two. The white on purple on grey just doesn't set right with me.

I like that bot mode pic as well :thumb

Wait, wait, wait, let me get this straight. Prime without trailer is gonna be released in October, and we won't get the Voyager class one with a trailer til February? Anyone else think that's just stupid as hell?

Seriously, what are our options? Buy deluxe Prime in October to have a Prime, and then get a 2nd Prime in February just for the trailer, and end up with two Primes? Or bite the bullet and just not buy Prime in October and wait for February's release? Either way, this is seriously ******ed thinking on Hasbro's part.

Man, this line is gonna kick sooo much ass if all the figures are that cool. I just hope for a good paint scheme (like Blitzwing's third one) when the fig is released.

Man, Galaxy Force blew me away with its designs... and this has just made them look very insignificant!
Time to start putting some money away. This is going to be one sweet line if this is the shape of things to come.

    Here's a Japanese version:

Always thought the black and white was dull, but it would work well for the train mode.

Kudos to Hastaktomy for not shying away from a challenge. G1 triplechangers are a formidable beast. It looks like they're trying to address the weak-points of G1 by concentrating on excellent robot modes.
As many fans keep saying, "its the characters they love".

Nice work Blitzwing, I like that one the best, it would work with both modes and it's easy on the eyes.

    Very shiny model!

I wonder if the designs we'll see in the rest of this line will be the same ones seen in the new IDW comic - would be an interesting way of tying the new line to a developing series.
