The whole idea of using dolphins as spy units is pure sci fi/cold war pop culture ideas. Love it!

Another reason to think New Age and DX9 are the same, look at there names for the different Optimus Prime molds:
    • DX9 X34 Dutch = Arnold in Predator
    • DX9 X34B Plissken = Kurt from the Escape From movies
    • DX9 X34T Moses = Do I need to explain this one?
    • DX9 X34W Ranton = Not sure, Trainspotting???
Don't know the name if the Shattered Glass version.

never occurred to me that DX9 Dutch is Arnold.

i laud DX9 and Newage, for a lack of better term, for being creative with their names. while on the other hand you have the likes of Grmlock, and Prop Sky Pillar. yes MFT, and Hot Soldiers I'm looking at you. while I like you guys, and you are the main stay of my collection line, i'm just wondering from which or whose arse you pulled those names out off. were they playing name bingo whilst drunk?

I've always loved Prowl and the Datsuns. There were so many iterations of Bluestreak (silver streak) that I have trouble keeping track. I know the original Bluestreak was simply all Silver, but If I wanted to only get the NewAge versions that actually appeared in the cartoons, which would be more accurate?

Murphy would be the cartoon accurate one. The one with black and gray. All three versions were considered for the cartoon, but that one was chosen. The original toy was all silver. The blue version is the diaclone that never saw release in the US. But they all look good to me!

Yeah, I'm not big on getting repaints that don't represent distinct characters so I would only get one Bluestreak and it would be Murphy. I love his paint scheme. In fact, in the early days of my MP collecting, I was planning on only picking up one of each mold, so only one Datsun and one Seeker. Bluestreak was my choice because I freakin' loved his paintjob. Eventually I abandoned that idea and have all three Datsuns and Seekers but Bluestreak is still my favorite.

Late to the party on this guy. Had to go back and get him after deciding to go all in on NA.

Anybody find a creative way to store his weapons in vehicle mode?

Thanks for everything, guys! I must say this fandom's politeness is very refreshing :)  On some anime forum I've drawn harsh words just for breathing

You can do this with their Jazz:

Does the same work for Prowl?

On Ben’s video review of HS Optimus Prime, someone commented that the name is the transliteration of Optimus Prime’s name in Mandarin (“Pillar that Supports the Sky,” which is supposedly a title for someone that is selfless and willing to sacrifice them self).

Always thumbs up for a Barney Miller reference.

Although, someone pointed out in another thread that both Miller and McCoy are references to the McCoy-Miller ambulance company.
