this looks quite nice, I really like that it doesn't have the rubbery look that Magic Square products have.

Im way more interested in the Iron Factory aesthetics, but I'm gonna consider getting this to go with NewAge's Goldbug.

Jokes aside, it looks almost as good as the masterpiece at that scale.

Got to hand it to Newage, they've made a fun looking Datsun Prowl. Something about it just says fun to transform and pose with. Plus it doesn't hurt that they've shown a willingness to do all sorts of decos for them (and that Jazz)

Agreed. I love Bumblebee despite the fact that @Scourgatron thinks he looks like a toddler. I don't want adorable MP figures but at this size I love it. IF Windblade's cuteness is what got me into legends in the first place.

Yeah. I'd prefer legends+ but mft and ths are making their minis and carbots too big so legends carbots will have to do.

Fair enough. I'll be more aware of the differences.

Could we get this scaling from NewAge?

If NA Bumble and Prowl are 6cm and 7.5cm respectively, with their MP counterparts as 12.5cm and 16.5cm. Then their ratios are similarly at 0.8 and 0.75.

That means they wanted to scale with a 12cm tall optimus.

Yeah cool. Once you do it early on it makes a lot of sense going forward.

Just remember to check around the boards before going purchase-crazy. There's an unmistakable difference in scale between some of the 3p manufacturers, so it's easy to avoid something too big or too small for what you're trying to collect if you check the appropriate threads first. The size of pretty much all of the pertinent figures has been documented with either exact measurements or pictures.

While I’ve been completely floored by most magic square, and many iron factory releases, this new age group seems to have an aesthetic ,so far, I prefer at this scale. It’s an ever so exaggerated look but looks spot on and not odd with the character. Their transformation schemes seem more fun/straightforward too.

    Bubbee wan huggee!

I dont hate it, though. I've got the KO in my Ebay cart.

And this Prowl is way too small! HS all the way.

Yup, and I wanna give Bubbee a huggee! :D

And yeah, I agree these guys are too small. But HS is too big. I'll have to think about it and decide which is better for my desk.

Nice! Looks like Shockwave is almost directly under Megatron so we should be able to approximate his relative size. Sadly, it doesn't look like he's much bigger than the carbots. Also Jazz looks great but what the hell are they thinking going the alternators route and repainting him into Shockwave?! Do they think that's something we want?

Yeah, it seems like New Age is a scale on its own.

Somewhere between World's Smallest and those Legends. Maybe like Legion size. If the transformation scheme is simple enough to be handle friendly, it should be fine.

Nice mix of toy and anime design. Seeing all these legends kinda makes me want to downside the MP collection into MP Legends instead.

Looks great, and once I have all 3 company’s versions of prowl in hand i will decide which one will be best for which scale (legends, legends+).
Loving the fact we as collectors are spoilt for choice in this small scale and can pick and choose as we wish.
If this NW version is anything like likes heir bumblebee mold I’m gonna love it.
