Well we know that's nothin new. MS is almost always a beefier bulkier design

Huh. They are actually extremely similar for once, in gestalt mode anyway, Though MS has better detailing in places. The abs area is completely blank on the NA version, and the chest plate sits too low. And looking at Mixmaster, he has the same kind of awkward truck proportions as a toon truck, rather than a real dump truck... I was hoping for a more real world vehicle look from NA, since they seem to take more care in alt mode.

And it looks like NA will also have partsforming forearms, unlike the dx9 version, and I doubt any of these will try to have the extras come together in another vehicle like IF did with Bruticus with the shuttle trailer.

I dunno, maybe the extra articulation in bot mode will make this worth an upgrade from Hulkie, but so far I’m a little disappointed with Newage here, whereas MS looks as you’d expect from their style.

So these guys are supposedly under 4 inches tall. Do we have rough heights on the MS bots?

I’m guessing MS has bigger bots, but a shorter combined mode

im really hyped to see what NA/MS both do with Long Haul, idk i feel they might knock that one outta the park

Agreed. I’m excited for both of these (even though I just bought the downsized Hasbro Devy).

Huh. Y'know, I was actually giving real consideration to each of MST's and NA's offerings here, right up until I read that. This one can just piss off.

Oh, and the pre-order bonus crap that MST has been pulling now? :banghead:

I very much like this one too. Both NA and MST offerings come with enough unique qualities to them to convince me it will be worth getting both. I hope NA Menasor will share the same approach.

i get it for individual bots and how NA basically makes them as teens or tweens or whatever. but when it comes to one of the baddest combiners of them all. i would think they would take a more beefier approach.

Working wheels on all Construction alt modes, please.
    *knocks on wood*
And working drum, boom, and whatnots.
I far prefer alt mode functionality to any sound and light gimmicks.

Love how both of these devy's are shaping up, but something about the proportions of Newage just didn't feel right to me so I did a little edit

    upload_2021-3-6_12-55-22.png

All I've done is raise the hips and cut a little off the purple crotch section. I just feel like the proportions come together way cleaner this way. Food for thought

For the first time I think I prefer the magic square over newage but I'll wait to see actual figures till I make up my mind.

Think that's it for canonical decoes. There'll probably be a golden version.

I think the render was a bit rushed, as it seems to lack the details and shapes NA is known for, even the Scavenger arms lacks detail compared to the prototype we saw.
