Looking good! The hollow forearms are my only real complaint. That and I'd prefer silver paint rather than grey, but I'm sure another deco will take care of that.

I have that. It’s very cheap. Doesn’t look bad on display but not for fiddling.

Totally disagree. Getting a KO upsize wouldnt hurt you from getting the official product if you wanted them to be so small. I never really understood the point of legends being its own scale. They usually go for $40 a pop. Hasbro gives you more plastic for your buck in deluxe scale for around $20 a pop. People like to say legends are affordable because they compare the cost to collecting MP scale. But when you compare the price to CHUG scale legends are such a rip off. I already got the downsized TR Devastator which is so much cooler than the big for nothing official version. But I would gladly jump on this version in deluxe scale at KO prices. I think it would sell like crazy.

if you look at the vehicle mode pictures, it should sit in the correct position if one doesn't move the cab, so i would say, yes

So, besides the generic info on some of the retail sites, have we actually confirmed how tall the combined form will be? Only thing we have so far is both MS and NA are going to be 25cm, but I'm not sure how accurate that is.

You simply can’t compare official CHUG toy prices to 3P legends toy prices. CHUG sells 10-100x more than a 3P figure, which reduces the tooling costs to near zero. For a small run 3P figure, tooling alone may account for 50% of the costs. Then throw in chug vs 3P part counts, and it’s really surprising that 3P is as cheap as it is.

the reverse is also true. You can’t compare official chug toys to 3P either, it’s not fair to chug. Hastak has to meet safety guidelines, the toys have to be super sturdy to handle normal play, and the figures have to be as hollow as possible to reduce plastic costs. That’s why official CHUG is absolute shit compare to 3P, and will never compete.

Its more fair to compare official MP vs 3P legends. Hastak sells fewer MP than chug, the part counts are high, no child safety regulations, etc. For carbots, the price of an official vs 3P legends isn’t that far apart, maybe 2:1. But then look at magic square OP vs MP-44. $50 vs $450, and yeah, 3P legends are cheap.

also, lots of people prefer 4” scale to 6” scale. More room for display, and matches their Kenner childhood days.

I hope we see some news on recolors soon. I'll jump on whatever Constructicons are available, but I much prefer yellow Constructicons.

(And if we get the orange Constructicons, I might have two double-up, because my childhood Devastator was a mix of G2 yellow and G2 orange.)

Wonder what kept NA from sharing pics of the combiner pieces. Usually they include all accessories in their promo shots. In due time I guess. Here’s hoping their first combiner knocks it out of the park.
