Warbot Defender was Fansprojects first full figure (ie not an add-on) and came out several years before Gen Springer. Not quite fair to compare. I think FP can make a kickass Springer v2 now with several years experience under their belt.

I don't remember them saying they are doing one for sure. They said they want to, but IIRC they made a point that they can't guarantee anything.
And it would be weirder if it wasn't Hasbro Grimlock. I can't see a single difference from Hasbro's except maybe something on the back of left forearm, in which case if it's anything it's an add-on, but there's already loads of 3P add-ons for Grimlock.

When I think about it, it might be risky for them to do a Grimlock based on the FOC design, since Hasbro made one.

The only thing they "said" about Paddles was putting up a group shot of FOC Dinobot concept art with a Paddles photoshopped from other Dinobot parts.
Unless I missed something.

 

According to Venksta, seems Fun Pub has suddenly reinstated their 3rd Party ban again and are asking vendors to remove 3rd Party items.  

 

Warbot is OK he's a little to short and takes far to long to transform.
I'm still waiting for a Springer that is a close likeness to the 1980's version myself.

Funpub is really out to piss off their own convention goers this year. First stopping that one fanfilm being shown at a hotel and now this sudden reinstation of the ban on what just happens to be the busiest day for the convention.

 

What the hell funpub? Could you be more tasteless? Have retailers pay for booth space to set up at your show, let them arrive with products in hand, give them like a day, then turn around and tell them all their nice 3rd party stuff is banned? What a fucking joke.

 

The dealers will just have to send out their guys in trenchcoats and sunglasses, wandering the floor going "PSST! - hey buddy, you lookin' for Revolver? ... maybe a Leo Dux?"

 

Suppose they ignore Fun Pub's suggestion and they stay there?

 

Why/how does FunPub do the wrongest thing possible every single time?

 

I wish to change my vote on Not Godbomber. I saw it in person today at BotCon, and I was totally wrong about it: it is not disappointing in the slightest. It is absolutely badass and I will definitely be getting it.

 

So everything Hasbro has produces has been of the utmost quality.. and no short cuts have been taken..

I'm saying that NO ONE has a "moral duty" to produce the best thing they possibly can. Maybe you don't understand what moral duty means. Or maybe you don't understand capitalism.

 

I said I personally think...everyone's ethics differs..something you are failing to understand....which is why this started..
