    Wow, what negative responses. XD

I completely missed the Cybertron line when I was out of the TF fandom, so these are new to me. I didn't even know the line had Scouts.

Although, I do think they're missing a great opportunity to redeco these. Backstop could easily be the G1 cassette bot Ramhorn. And Brushguard could possibly be made into Outback/Fallback, unless you wanna be strict about scale and use Brawn. And Brakedown... Is it just me, or does he resemble Yoketron from TFA? I dunno what he could be made into, but I'm sure someone has a good idea.

Still, if these are cheap, I may be tempted to get one or two.

Yeah, but for those who don't have the molds? It's a pretty good deal.

I really want a Brushguard to turn into Nemesis Breaker.

Certainly not because they're re-releasing existing toys via Dollar Stores.

In my opinion, Cybertron was the best line out of them all. Killer articulation and QC. I admit when Classics came out, I was disappointed with the articulation. I still hate Hot Rod. He looks cool on the shelf though. He takes a soft pellet sometimes to keep him from fucking up anyone fights.

Two things. First of all, out of the three, I never got any of them but my brother got Backstop. I wanted to get Brakedown. That's it. WHY BACKSTOP?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Now for the second thing. I thought this line was dead! I thought they were rounding this line off, then were going to bring it back under another name with more awesome new molds next year. I want it to continue but WHY continue it like this?! I'd rather see it go on the hiatus the Classics line did, and that Universe should go on, too.

I just thought of something. This line had good quality control. So these versions will probably have crap quality control, like the Movie, Animated and Universe lines. I know someone who can sell me a brand new Universe 1.0 Brakedown. That's all I need. Who cares about the "new" reissues? They're going to have horrible quality controls and they aren't great figures anyway!

Who wants a Backstop with loose joints? A hand that won't stay up in rhino mode, perhaps? Damn Hasbro.
    Hasbro. HAAASSSBROOOO.

While we're re-releasing Cybertron molds in their original deco, can we get an original deco re-release of Cybertron Wing Saber as < ANYBODY - I DON'T CARE! > ?

Good idea. Just re-release it. Remind me. Why were Energon and Cybertron Wingsaber figures made rare? It's stupid! I found ONE Energon WS and bought it. I never EVER saw the Ultra Cybertron Wingsaber, from what I can recall.

Old packaging?? I've seen them in the old cybertron packaging at Biglots and Family dollar stores.

Why on Earth would Hasbro not release these with new paint jobs?

Relax guys, I'm pretty sure like the Energon toys released in the old Universe line's packaging, these are destined for dollar outlet type stores such as Big Lots and Family Dollar.

Nothing whatsoever to do with this.

They were never made rare. Hasbro doesn't care about "chase figures" or shortpacked figures for collectors, so they more or less make most things in equal quantities. If you never found one, then it happened to be popular around your area, OR the retailers in your area ordered few of the Voyager and Ultra assortments that those figures were released in.

Big Lots and Family Dollar probably didn't request new decos. And Hasbro certainly weren't going to waste time/money and new ideas on dollar store re-releases.

    Big Lots

I saw these figures at Big Lots yesterday (Mooresville, NC), but didn't catch if they had the new packaging or not. They had A BUNCH of them and it looked like a new display - and they were $7.50 I think. Not cool.

They also had a lot of new movie legends class two-packs, which were only $6 each - a better deal in my opinion.

You don't want Backstop. You really don't.

Why didn't they rerelease Swindle. I would have paid for that.

    Q. F. T.

They could have at least repainted them. Backstop into Rhinox, how difficult would that be? Not to mention they picked some poor choices for Scouts.
    WEAK.

Anything is better than backstop. I'll have to pass on it a infinity number of times.

I kind of like the brushguard mold except for the arms. Missile launcher makes up for it because you don't see that in basics often. But I have it and two of the warpath repaint so I'm good.

I would troop build any of the scrapmetals again or go for brakedown gts because I missed that repaint. Kup! Kup!!
