Siege Optimus feels like a bit of a waste now, because it's not quite doing any of the things it's stretched between.

But when was Grapple hot? Ironworks is looking great too. And I don't consider all of Siege a waste. Some of the molds are either unique enough to justify themselves and in my already mixed collection that's just what a Lamborghini will look like one day. But while Siege Optimus is supposed to be Cybertronian, I've already got WFC and FOC figures that do that and a Titans Return Orion Pax. And I wish I had the IDW Pax which would be another. And I'd say some of the sculpt is closer to cartoon accuracy and I'd consider this new one a non-Sunbow Prime with the yellow eyes, certain proportions and grey thighs but Siege has the thighs as well. Sure it's nitpicky but when it's almost the same figure I feel like that's a given.

Like I'll buy two Starscreams because there's a lot less confusion with the tetrajet. Megatron comes down to what they do, I don't need an Earth Megatron, just a good one which doesn't come along often enough.

That station bot is bought but that's it. Was excited for grapple but i see he is all about the hollowpocalypse.

 

Hopefully they'll only do retools for characters that would actually benefit from a new look.
Earth emergency vehicles for Prowl and Ratchet, maybe turning Soundwave's boombox fan-mode into the official mode.

I have a feeling Starscream will be a new mold, and hopefully they're using him as a pretool for the Coneheads. Fingers crossed it'll mean we'll FINALLY get a Starscream that doesn't have a fake cockpit. When was the last *real* cockpit? Classics? It feels like it.

 

People are apparently foolish, and should try this thing called personal accountability. seriously, why can't people just be happy we have so many options. I feel like we are entering a collector's golden age. Idk, maybe because I've only been into for a couple of years but these releases have been mostly exciting to me.

 

I want a black helmet and toy design face for Grapple please.

If we get more obscure characters who haven't been done before (PLEASE), I'm calling Autobot double Targetmasters (I know Scoop's been done before, and I'm fine with that figure, but you can get Selects Autorollers out of him and Landfill) and possibly some of Autobot Headmaster Jrs.

Because HasTak are toy companies? They live on sales. It is not like they design them once, make them and then close shop. They need to keep making new toys, new characters too which is rather difficult considering the lore.
The Cybertronian modes are fine as is. But with the new Earth modes I am wondering what we will get. Optimus Prime looks fine, though not a fan of the yellow eyes. Grapple looks awesome as for the base, I never was into micro masters. So might skip it like I skipped most of the micro masters safe for Soundwaves minions.

 

Iron works is a troop builder, with amaxing possibilities.

Star Convoy was a waste period, I know some like him and that's fine but he is essentially just POTP OP with minor alterations

They do it to make fans happy? It's a business. I'm pretty sure they're doing it for money. Happy fans = more money of course, but making fans happy is a means to an end.

I think it's okay to be critical of where this series is going, just as it's okay to be happy with it. People don't have to be grateful for something they weren't wanting to begin with.

Also, this is far from just a complaining thread. Plenty of people are praising what they're seeing here.

 

Nice I got into it or I should say got back into in 2016. Went through phase where I thought I was too cool to collect, and then I realized there were hundreds of nerds spread across many communities who are just as enthusiastic about the hobby as me.
