Yeah, I see no discrepancy myself.
Yeah sorry guys, I mistook Voyager class with Leader. lol
Is there a way to use the current Starscream mold for the earth mode one?
its possible siege screamers alt-mode is mostly just a backpack, but i'd put money on it being a new mold with conehead remolds in mind
It's far easier to just make a new mold. The design for Starscream's robot mode was made for an Earth mode, and the Terajet design was one that necessitated that the designers had to bend over backwards to engineer an F-15 robot mode to fit a totally different alt mode. Essentially, the Tetrajet mode is akin to a series of contrived curves to get to an F-15 bot mode, whereas a mold dedicated to the F-15 modes in both sides is a straight line. No reason for them to use a bunch of curved lines when they can just use a straight line.
...I am so sorry for my poor explanatory powers. Dx
Yeah, that was inartfully phrased. The Leader Class toys have been too large in the past to scale properly, is my point.
Damn. Disconnect from the internet for five days and all the big news drops.
Nah this is just the warm up. Hopefully the big news (and pics) will be next week.
I don't even know what this Optimus with trailer really is, but I want it!
It's a hippie Optimus who lives in a trailer day by day, singing country music and twirling his mustache when speaking...
I’m finding those to be some boring choices. It doesn’t feel that long since Generations Cliffjumper, Wheeljack, Hoist and Grapple.
It’s been a good while, wheeljack was part of the generations 2010-2012 line, unless you mean the crappy combiner wars one
I'll give you Grapple, but the others need better representation. Cliffjumper last had a figure during the GDO line.
Last Generations figures:
Grapple: Reveal the Shield (2011)
Hoist: Thrilling 30 (2013)
Cliffjumper: Thrilling 30 (2014)
Wheeljack: Combiner Wars (2016)
I'm not too excited about these choices, but some of them are overdue.
They seem to be finishing the original lineup of G1 characters next year.
So if you have already done the usual suspects, What’s coming in the final year of this trilogy? I think that we might see some DEEP cuts in 2021.
If they don’t reboot the line with more Primes, Megatrons, and Starscreams as is their usual want, mind you.
Out of all the listings, I'm really excited for a new Cliffjumper. He's been needing an update for years! I would have preferred a Legends class figure, but I'll happily take a deluxe as long as he isn't just a straight red colored pre-release Bumblebee. I'm interested in Hoist and Grapple depending on how they look but right now I'm still happy with the Thrilling 30 and RTS versions however I'm glad to see a new Grapple since that RTS version was a bit tough to get. As for the new Prime w/ trailer listing, if it's just another version of straight up G1, then I might pass but if its a new Powermaster Prime, then I'll be all for it.
I'm really curious about this Ironworks, but if its Micromaster related, I may pass. I hate to say it, but the new updated Micromasters have not impressed me very much.
I'm just praying for a Titan class Skorponok reveal next week. Give me that I'll be ecstatic!
Yup! I’m hoping that Hasbro releases something akin to the studio series line but a toon version.
IMO they won’t because there is the MP line.
But can you imagine if they did it? All the season 1 & 2 TFs such as the Autobot cars, Deception seekers, combiners?! I’m sure I won’t be the only one to go nuts! X)
What if Ironworks is actually a Weaponizer?
I get the feeling that earth Starscream and SIEGE Starscream were designed st the same time around the same robot mode with the jet modes largely detachable via that back part on SIEGE Starscream. However I think earth Starscream will have bit more involved transformation.
