Problem is, Airwave has already been done as Autobot Overair--they won't repop the same figure with different sigils. Would be cool if they can keep it reasonable rather than the clusterhump they got into with Omega Supreme.

Military Patrol is Decepticon, Ironworks and Hot Rod Patrol are Autobots.

With so few Leaders now - 4 in Siege, up 1 from the planned 3 - it sort of makes sense for when they do do them to solid case them. And I suspect Astrotrain would have been in w1 if he hadn't been pulled forward into Siege

 

Starscream will probably be the new "Voyager" size. And that just sucks.

 

I kinda hope this is all true mostly because earth Screamer=CONEHEAD PRETOOL but it would be absolutely hilarious if we all get gnomed and the listings were fake. Either way, we’ll have to wait and see what happens at the next convention.

 

Also, on the topic of “why cliffjumper first?”- Bumblebee’s a beetle. Cliffjumper’s a Porsche sports car, if I remember correctly. There’s no logical reason for them to share a mould, seeing as this is all a G1 fest.

 

Not quite, the deluxes had one con, I think it's the solid block of all Autobot deluxes that is what's really making this list look so Autobot heavy.

I'm pretty pleased with some of this. an Earth mode Starscream in Voyager size will be great!

I'm a little disappointed in seeing a deluxe Cliffjumper. I was really hoping the Legends scale Minibots could get finished but now we're going back to Deluxe scale Minibots? I get why they did that to Reflector but I was hoping we'd see a return of Legends scaled Minibots. Oh well.

Here's hoping for more Earth mode stuff! ...for me anyway, I know a lot of people love the Cybertronian stuff, lol.

 

Three of the deluxe imply things about what's going to happen down the line:

Cliffjumper remoulded into BB

Wheeljack remoulded into Tracks (as per Generations/RTS) and Sunstreaker (CW)

Hoist remoulded into Trailbreaker.

Whereas if you think this is Ironfist - I'm not sure it is - this would be a Siege Hound retool/repaint.

Now I’m reaching here, but didn’t someone say that Hasbro would be announcing a new line for 2020? I’m just throwing this out here, but what if WFC is taking a break, and that there will be ordinary, un-themed Generations figures for a year, then WFC:2? It would explain a new Starscream. (Probably wrong about all this XD)

 

The new line is WFC II isn't it? Possibly subtitled Armageddon.....

The one I\'m most surprised about here is \"deluxe Ironworks\". Iromworks is a pretty minor character, but not only that, he\'s also already had a toy in Siege. 

But the original Ironworks came with a micromaster base. What if this new one was the same deal? Same figure we\'ve already had, micromaster base.

And wouldn\'t it be cool if the minibots came with mini spies like in G1? It would help fill out the price point if they\'re deluxe now.
