.......I normally average the purchase of around 40-45 TF figures a year, so it was kind of a shame when realizing that I might not buy more than 15 figures this year despite the whole 40th anniversary theme.

But the way these rumored 2025 figures are turning up. I should probably save this "2024 could've been cash" ($500-$600) for next year due to possibly buying over 60 figures! I mean there's new Constructicons, Aerialbots, maybe even some Combaticons. And now I could be interested in this gimmick within next year's new line!

Can't wait to see and hear more...

If these are indeed modular versions of popular characters, having Megatron and no Ratchet is a crime.

Yeah, I feel like this would be two robot modes, one alt-mode, basically turning the figure around a la Punch/Counterpunch.

That said, any way you cut it the Ravage/Shadow Panther seems... Interesting. One character who famously usually doesn't have a robot mode (and when he does, the only feature is having the alt-mode head) and another who is such a nonentity that he usually gets repurposed as the first character.

Well, an Ironhide/Ratchet pack would make sense for a wave 2. Towline and Skids could be a second set off those molds.

So, 6 days late, perhaps? :)

Given the name, I suspect this will be something along the lines of what's being done later this year with TMNT, with "Mix 'N Match":

If real, I'm going to guess at something non-transforming, and far more of a kid-line like Cyberverse and Earthspark than Generations. Also pprobably more like core or warrior than deluxe price points (and I'd rule out anything like voyager or leader).

Definitely have to be a budget line of some simplicity no way we’re getting a full wave of triple changing figures without some limitations.

That Starscream/Thundercracker is going to be one of the lamest lol should’ve atleast done a conehead

Yeah this is where I’m leaning. Don’t see the price points so I’m not sure if it’s one figure or two but many of these share the same or similar molds. A Starscream with some Thundercracker parts, for example.

I think the one that really surprises me on all of these is Starscream Thunder cracker. They're probably gonna be identical, so packing them together is going to be an odd choice.

A part of me wonders if they're gonna be like there Earthspark Energon combiners. Either them or the 07 movie base skeleton with additional parts vibe

As people have already suggested, could see some reuse across the line, I anticipate:

Cheetor/Tigatron to be turned into Ravage/ Shadow Panther

Optimus/Magnus into Nemesis/Clench - but I'm hoping that the prime is a laser prime styled figure, gets us closer to clench

Really hoping to see Starscream/Thunder cracker as Skywarp/Sunstorm, but we'll see.

Hate to bug @Jtprime17 , but there's no indication of price I have to assume?

Crash Combiners seem unlikely if only because all of these listed pairings are things that are purposefully similar to other things. Truck/truck, tank/tank, cat/cat, dinosaur/dinosaur, jet/jet. I feel like the similarity between the two characters in each pairing is strategic. But just making one thing become the top of a combiner with another guy -- those could/should be as dissimilar as possible. The gimmick must be something where the similarities are crucial.

So what could these be? I mean maybe they have 1 alt mode that turns into 2 different robots, like Punch/Counterpunch? Given that the figures listed often have wildly different colors... not sure how?

If these are campy awesome, I will buy, but if they are blatantly babyish cheapy, then it’s a pass.

Wait, is this falling under Generations, or is it some new addition to Authentics? Seeing Clench of all people show up makes me think it's collector-aimed, though that seems unlikely, for a gimmick line. Anyway, while I'm glad Hasbro is experimenting with new gimmicks, if this is a gimmick where you can make two characters out of one toy, I'll have to pass. Being forced to only use one character at a time sounds restrictive and annoying. If it has been different modes or power-ups for a single character, I might've been all over this. Oh well.
