The Decepticon Mirage scene is friggin awesome. I'm gonna stop spamming this thread with every dumb moment, but suffice to say the show isn't just dumb, it's really earnestly dumb in a way that's extraordinarily funny. It's so earnest you can't really have any contempt for it, but you're definitely not laughing with it or anything. It's like watching a really tryhard B movie that was made with absolutely no irony.

Actually, I was hoping Decepticon Mirage would have been something more integral to the story. Like maybe he had to go in and steal something mission impossible style from the Decepticons? Wasn’t as cool as what my imagination was dreaming up all this time.

Anyways, I’m wondering if Siege gets on the trending or top 10 list from Netflix?

Very good point! When both sides seem like jerks, the characters who aren't allied with anyone seem the most likable.
I'm not a huge fan of overly morally ambiguous Autobots either for precisely this reason.

I actually like JP Headmasters more than most of season 3. I hate the rebirth episodes. It’s obvious there was no budget and the goal was explicitly to introduce all of the new product. I realize that’s the point of it all, but I thought Headmasters was done better. It did have the benefit of a whole season, so there’s that. The English dub is hilarious.

Every TF show goes through this . You cant take a TF fan's opinion of a show seriously until minimum 2 years in. Its is always with the hyperbole, worst ever, abysmal, [insert terrible show] was better.... until it isnt. Happened with Beast Wars, Animated, Prime.... this is just another link in the chain.

Someone said it looks like early 90s animation.

    Yeah. Ok.

Like how do I take that seriously? Another user said theyd take the Bay movies over it. Like.... this show has a plot... that's already more than the Bay movies can over and I defend those films a lot, except ROTF.

I just dont know what yall wanted/were expecting. But I'll wait til the hype dies down and people's actual opinions come out. Now it just seems like a lot of embellishment, and for the record... that includes me.

I don't read the IDW comics, so if it were to share the same continuity, that would just drag the show down even further for me, or anyone else who doesn't read the comics.

This show didn't even have to have the G1 elements at all. They could have done something completely new and fresh. It doesn't have to take place on Cybertron at all. All these things are things they chose to do. I don't really see this as anything more mature than the G1 cartoon. Maybe it is better written? I will never know, because wow was that first episode a chore to watch. That voice acting is dragging this whole cartoon down. And, that's not the fault of the non-union actors. That's the fault of directing. It's not who they hired, it's how they are written, how they are directed. They are written to have huge sticks up their asses, and never emote.

We've had so many cartoons that have barely anything to do with the G1 cartoon. Heck, we've had 5 movies too. We've had the BW/BM cartoons, which sure, were based on the G1 cartoon, but they did their own things in that show. They did their own thing in Animated, Prime, Unicron Trilogy, Rescue Bots, and RID. These all did their own things. Had very little to do with the G1 lore. That is what kept it interesting.

You call these more maturily written G1. I call it, G1 with all the life sucked out of it. It's like watching a really, really bland, G1 fan fiction. A fan fiction made by somebody who clearly watched the G1 cartoon, but hated all the fun bits. So, removed those, and replaced it with nothing.

Idk, Reboot had bright colors, loads of fun characters, beautiful animation that still holds up, even today. I honestly prefer Reboot's animation to this. Even though, I liked the animation in this, it was really hard to see a lot of things going on. The image show of Megatron, is actually hiding most of Megatron.

While we see all these characters from Reboot plain as day. Bright, and cheerful, full of life. Combine that with the 90's best voice acting, and writing. You're really comparing one of the best shows of the 90's, to this.

I think Reboot's going to win, hands down. Just saying.

I liked the show and I'll be looking forward to Chapters 2 & 3 and no I will not explain why I liked it, because others have already done it.

I don't mind moral ambiguity, but the problem is that current TF shows just don't seem to handle it properly.

Okay, if there is another reason to force me to watch the show other than Starscream, it's this. Yeah, I'm pretty vulnerable when it comes to good looking women (too many Bond flicks made me ogle too much :lol ).

2 Episodes in. I like it. Animation models and details are really good. The battle dings and dents of the bots are distracting a little. They seem to just appear and disappear but maybe it is my imagination.
But the problem with watching " a series" that are only 6 20-30 mins episodes is that I'm afraid of it ending so quickly and that the story will not develope.

So the header to the news today is
"Netflix Transformers War for Cybertron Part 1: Siege Now Online"
So is there any confirmation on a PART 2 with more episodes?
    Thanks.

Part 2 is Earthrise, Siege is just Part 1 of the War for Cybertron Trilogy.

TF: Siege, we have metal fever.

Ddg studios was the first person to point that out to me and I'm glad others are taking notice.
