Hah, oh my god, this live stream right now.
Wouldn't be the first time.
I’m sure we won’t get any OG voices, so that’s another sting to look forward to.
Nice poster!I thought Megatron will have the green pattern on his beast mode's back just like the kingdom Megatron.
Is it possible that we get an all purple Megatron(netflix version) in the future?
I’m watching it! Also getting tix for an October show, they’ll be playing in my hometown!
Because Hasbro cheaped out as usual. The figures are in need of better paint apps but the figures overall are better than those in the past.
I’m pretty sure that this is the last thing for all the transformers stuff.
Yep they skipped out on the trailer...
Wouldnt be surprised if they didnt show a trailer because they were focusing on heman
Netflix is suddenly allergic to releasing a trailer for the final season of this show it seems.
At this point I don't really care if we get a trailer or not. I've watched the first two seasons, I'll watch this one. It's a quick binge and then I'll probably forget about it within a month.
It'll be tough shoehorning that, and everything else hinted at in the song titles, into 6 episodes.
Shame they didn't show them breaking Cheetor's tab live on stream and reacting to it, it would've been enough to compensate for the lack of a trailer.
I saw zero information on Kingdom in the backend of the Netflix Media Center. No trailer, no images, no release, no page. No information whatsoever. My guess is they're waiting til last minute to post anything related to the cast, image, videos, etc to curb backlash and because it seems rushed when it comes out.
I'll still watch it, binged and then review it and forget about it likely but it is odd they don't have any material outside the few posters we've seen today and prior.
I find it incredibly odd how Netflix gave Siege and Earthrise two teaser trailers months out before those seasons were released, then releasing a launch trailer in time for those seasons. But we are a month and a few weeks out from Kingdom's release and not only do we have no trailers yet, but they haven't released much promotional material aside from the nice posters we got today. No word on voice actors for the BW cast yet. This is all incredibly odd. It's like they don't have much faith in WFC anymore and are pulling back on the marketing budget.
Why not? Seige had enough room for two with Jetfire and Impactor both coming around the the Autobot side.
That has always been Netflix's problem. They will promote an original series during it's debut but abandon it after a few years to push something else (in this case He-Man).
Because they know this show is ending, the audience is already baked in thanks to the previous two seasons...and now they're investing in the next thing.
Is it odd? I’ve always been under the impression that Netflix has haphazard marketing. I could be wrong.
Even this Geek Week thing is haphazard. I didn’t know when it was going to be streaming. Having a handy guide of the days/times specific shows were going to be presented would be helpful (like what Hasbro does during HasCon or any other convention with panel info.)
I look at HBO as the best example on how to market new shows and returning shows.
Maybe you guys are also giving Netflix too much credit when you say they are afraid of backlash. Maybe they just don’t care or are just sloppy. This is the studio that produces A TON of content that is all over the place in terms of quality. Half the time you’re lucky if you even hear about a show that might interest you.
Not everything is a conspiracy. They've just got bigger things to promote right now than the final season of an 18 episode mini-series.
It's not just you. It's a known thing. Their big push is always just before release and then they ride trends and likely their own internal stats to tell them what to promote from there.
I guess I don't pay too much attention to them. But yeah it is def a very sloppy move. I haven't heard of half the shows they air on their and I'm surprised that they existed (Blood of Zeus for example).
And that's because they don't promote them. Ever.
