The Netflix figs don't tie up Kingdom slots, though...
They meant the Kingdom show, which is airing here soon.
yeah, I think the point is, out of 7 slots, 4 of Wave 3 are from the Siege chapter, rather than Kingdom. But then, the Earthrise set of releases featured Earthmode Bumblebee, Prime and Soundwave, which obviously made zero sense, and pretty much nothing specific to that chapter I can recalls except the Spoiler pack which is a pretty strained reference.
probably because they had limited character choices for Kingdom in terms of beasts (reissue another Black Arachnia?)
Anyone with the Netflix and retail Cheetor able to do a side-by-side comparison in both modes? Please and thank you
I like how the Netflix deluxe line is exclusive to robot kingdom
Yay! I found all the currently out Netflix wave 3 figures that I want. I’m skipping the BW figures. Still thinking about the spoiler pack and I also want the Sparkless seeker. From Kingdom I’m only missing Ultra Magnus.
Me too! Easiest wave ever!
I don't have the energy to do both modes right now, but here's a side-by-side where you can see how much more striking of a blue he has in the Netflix release:
And here's Deep Cover. Like Sideswipe, he lacks the rifle that shipped with Tigertrack and both Red Alert releases. But that's okay, because I'll give him Caliburst or another Battle Master that matches his paint.
Since I've gone to this much trouble, here's some Deeseus Army Drone shots too:
And lastly, here's Sparkless Bot:
Cheers all. Even though this entire wave is repaints:
* Cheetor looks great and feels tighter in his joints than my Kingdom Cheetor, in a good way.
* Deeseus Army Drone is awesome for people like me who didn't get EITHER version of Ironhide, or Ratchet.
* Sparkless Bot works great for a "Shockwave Experiment Subject" or a battlefield corpse. I'm not a huge fan of this mold, and I don't have the Prowl or Bluestreak that use it. But it's nice enough and it looks sharp with this paint treatment.
* Since I hate the Siege Seeker mold, the Lamborghini has been my go-to for scratching the repaint itch. I need to get the other Sideswipe... This Deep Cover is in good company and when the GS Deep Cover release comes out I have a pre-order in for it.
You might want to visit the Feedback section and post your pics there, nobody has started a review thread for each of these yet:

I'd love to know what the maths is like on this mould as regards putting an extra part in the package vs throwing it away.
As you said the retail versions have all been Gun (Red Alert) or Launcher & Missile (Sideswipe) There's enough examples of the toys out there now that I'm pretty sure the launcher & gun are on the same sprue as the wheels (both always cast in black) and the missile on the same sprue as the bodywork (both cast in the same colour)
So for each retail release some parts must be going in the bin!
I do hope that SOMEWHERE they've kept all the discarded bits for a future Battlepack - I could do with extra guns.... and the correct coloured missiles from Red Alert to swap with Sideswipe!
Personally I wish they'd cast gun & missile on the same sprue as the legs as per the original toy then we could have had white guns & missiles for everyone and only Red Alert's would have been wrong!
It's a shame Cheetor doesn't have the blue paint on the legs, but he looks so much dramatically better regardless that I think it doesn't matter much. Hope it's humanly possible to find him in the UK.

Are you somehow unfamiliar with the concept of characters receiving new color schemes but staying the same character?
Found 2 sets of wave 3 today. 1 remains at the store.
Comparison shots from Ishikawa sunday on twitter
Also heads up(unless this is a common thing with Cheetor), but careful with the peg on the back of the head.
In this case, Deep Cover seems like a super random/lazy name slap and supremely weird since they literally released GS Deep Cover within the last month. Several folks in this thread have offered multiple options that both make more sense and re-use under used names from to the franchise history like Sideburn.
just seems an odd choice on their part.
That side by side shot of both Deep Covers are really pushing me to get both...
I got both Deep Covers. Rare for me to get the Netflix versions since I generally don’t like battle damage but that blue on Netflix Deep Cover is mesmerizing. I skipped Netflix versions of Sideswipe and Red Alert since I already have the Siege versions.
Found a lone Cheetor today.
Picked him up because why the hell not?
If I find Deepcover in B&M I'll grab him... But I still like the idea of him being another character. They can be an Autobot answer to the Seekers... 'The Searchers'... or 'The Swipers'. They can have a Core scale fembot criticizing them... and introducing them to Spanish.
Sideburn isn’t a good choice for a straight repaint of Sideswipe. We would expect him to look more like he did in RiD’01 with a new head. We complained about Rotorstorm having Spinister’s head until it was changed.
I don’t mind characters having a new secondary color scheme to their name.
This color scheme is likely based on a generic from the tv show given the name of a character already associated with the mold. Although I would not have been saying that the toy should have been Deep Cover had it been given the identity of another character.
Separate names with a comma.
