Haven’t had a chance to watch the new Netflix season but damn if it doesn’t sound like more of the same.

 

Oh no I wasn’t joking, I legitimately would love to watch something like that more than the Netflix series. They have some heart out in and give a really good laugh.

 

I just finished Earthrise and I really liked it. I liked Siege but Earthrise is a big improvement and I really look forward to Kingdom!

 

I think I figured out my own problem with this show: to me, it feels like the characters were written by someone whose only references when writing them were a description their dad made while reminiscing about G1.

 

Uhmmmmmm Japanese are known to give each other a bath. As for the tongue lickitysplit, they copied that from the "American" movie John Carpenters "The Thing"!

The moe art style is an "artistic choice". You may not like it, some may not even be bothered by it. Heck, even the TF G1 Viz manga vol 2 or 3, Jan Minakase was giving Starsaber, his foster dad a carwax/bath JP style. Nothing horny there.

Also, TFMovie Age of Extinction where the government was hunting down TFS? Well, they adapted it from KissPlayers.

There might be some cultural differences, peculiarities per regions that write TF lores. Not a reason to close your eyes on how they deliver the story.

See the show not as a continuation of the original. More like a nod/alternate universe. Same way with the previous on with Titans Returns...........

 

Here's something that confused me how is astrotrain the size of his cyberverse counterpart in siege but is the size of megatron in episode 6 of earthrise.

 

I'm not a fan of the dark tone of this series.

 

The series isn't so much dark, it's more poe-faced campy without the self-awareness.

Anyone expecting the voice acting to get any better are just setting themselves up for disappointment. All the voice lines were probably well recorded and done before Siege even came out.

Yup. Subjective on your part too. On my part that avatar of yours reminds me of Atari. If you get Ooshima to do it, his art style is sure to portray it as such. Different subjective interpretations. Hence my point.

Transformers: War for Cybertron: Earthrise: Review. **SPOILERS

 

Skipped through the show in about half an hour. I enjoyed seeing Scorponok and Galvatron.
The final minute of episode 6 was my favorite part and I am curious to see what they'll do with Kingdom.
Keeping my expectations low though.

 

When Chapter 3 airs, I definitely like to see who's cast for the Beast Wars characters. Maybe bring back David Kaye. I'd also like to see Scott Mcneill as Dinobot again, if not him then someone similar like Dee Bradley Baker.

 

With their casting strategy I doubt it'll be any actors any fan cares about.

What a waste too as this was the transformers chance of a lifetime. Imagine kingdom with Cullen, Welker, Chalk, Kaye as Prime, Megatron, Primal, Beast Megatron respectively in the same show.

The 4 most significant leaders in transformers history joined together would be one of the greatest events to happen in transformers media even if the show itself ends up average still by the end.

 

The thing did not have a creature with a penis tongue drooling after (what looks to me like) a tween girl.

 

Subjective. Ooshima's style.
