I expected reception by our Fandom to be mixed and the people who disliked the show to be the most... vocal.

What I didn\'t expect was to engoy it so much. Watched the whole thing in 2 sittings. 

 

I watched it in one sitting (with the German dub). I really liked it! Come on Season 2!

ok i finally managed to watch it, i don't know what happened with netflix but it worked properly today and to be honest? i really like it, i admit there are things i'm still not sure what to think about, but for the most part, i really like the comedy and characters

 

I thought I had read one of the people working on this worked on Rescue Bots. Which, if true, explains a lot. Sat down with my son (5) to watch it and he really got into it.

You absolutely have to get through the opening few minutes of the first episode. But the rest of the show so far has not been anything like that opening chaos from the party.

There's a good mix of moral/team building and they emphasize the importance of keeping themselves secret. (When's the last time that was a core part of any TF fiction?)

I'm really enjoying it. It's goofy, but the humor is aimed at a slightly older audience than Rescue Bots. They've really got something here if they can get eyes on it.

 

I watched the first two and a half episodes before deciding my wife might like it too - we ended up binging the first five last night. It's so great to share something TF with her. I really like it and will definitely be getting into the toys.

 

I’m like halfway through this season and I’m loving it so far! Absolutely everything I wanted out of this show. I hope we get toy of some of the new show characters stat.

 

An episode is out? Well I’ll have to give it a try tomorrow. Obviously for kids but I mean, Probably going to be more enjoyable than the WFC snooze-fest.

 

It’s a cute show in small doses. Some clever jokes along the way and I actually like the basic premise.

More importantly, my young daughter has asked to watch it again today after enjoying an episode yesterday. So it seems to work for the target demographic.

already finished it, i really didnt think i was going to like clogstopper at all, and right now, is probably my favorite, also, love fottle barts even if its only a for a few moments SOMETIMES

 

MP BotBots when?

 

the implications of the series are terrifying.. imagine you're eating a hamburger at the mall or some shit and boom, robot parts just start falling out. wtf

 

My eight year old and I watched three episodes over the weekend and love it. We really could have watched it all but we want to take our time and space it out.

I really hope they continue the series, it's just kid-centric harmless fun.

 

Would an MP Botbot be toon accurate or would it be accurate to the item's appearance in reality? Because both would be hilarious.

Also is it just me or is BotBots like Beast Wars with it having new characters that fans like and being a way better show then fans thought?

 

Yes! It also reminded me of Beast Wars in the way the characters refer to themselves as much as robot as well as what they turn into.

(Like Ratrap would be as much rat as robot)

 

Ok I finsihed watching it a few minutes ago and overall it was NOT a bad show! Granted I had zero expectation so that help! I mean it was not like Teen Titan GO (no offence to those whose liked it here, I just now accept the target audience are for kids), maybe like the Unikitty Show but without the killer soundtrack and getting "too much" of when binge watching it!

Also without spoilers, I guess it now belong to a universe of sort at the ending there?!

Oh I can see why they made a cartoon of it now or rather finally go hand in hand with the recent wave 6 toys due to the introduction of those cars!

I think my fav episodes were when Bonz Eye trying to find her squad and befriending Lady Macaron and the phone episode (should of seen the twist coming)!

The nitpick I got is that not ALL of the botbots character appear in the show, not even as cameo! Hopefully if they do get a second season, they would introduce more squads and characters like King Candyhooves!

Lastly I WANT them to make a Lady Macaron (liked her shooty but insightful personality) and Jacelueline (nice desgin eventhought she is a shellformer) botbot toys now, preferable as blind bag but I'm willing to buy a multipack if the two are in it! Also no Fancy Flutter doesn't count!

 

If they do a season 2 I want Quackles to be in it and be voiced by David Kaye.

 

OK, I watched this just to keep my record of watching all TF animations. First 3 episodes were OK, fun but nothing more. Some episodes were so fun like the Ruckus Rally and Dimlit's first love. But... the last 3 episodes... COME ON! They were totally cool! a very unexpected ending for sure! I hope we get a second season! Give this show a chance!
