Where exactly did I say anything that you are accusing me of saying? Specific quotes please. I NEVER said that they don't care about adult collectors, I NEVER said they don't target adult collectors. What I did say is that CHILDREN are the PRIMARY target, adults are secondary. Yes, they will use designs that are familiar to adults to grab them as well, but a child won't know or care that it's a 30 year old design. What's cool is cool regardles of the designs age. In the future, if you're going to try and put words into my mouth, don't.

I’ll admit I’ve been in a really bad mood today, and I read your posts in at work, so I’m sorry. I’ve had this arguement with folks before and I just went off. I still stand by my points, but I have had people tell me what I assumed you were saying, but whatever. I don’t want to have beef with you.

 

We're good, I just want to be clear, I've never said that they don't consider adults when designing products, they're just the secondary target while kids are the primary target. A Transformer could appeal to a kid regardless of if it's a nostalgic design or not, but using a nostalgic design will have the added benefit of drawing in adult collectors that have nostalgia for those older designs, so they're hitting 2 targets with a single product when it comes to the more nostalgia driven lines.

My kid saw the previews while we were watching Dino Fury the other day and asked if we could watch it, but it was just a preview. He was very excited when I told him they were available today. So we'll likely be starting this tonight.

Kinda hope the first episode goes up on YouTube, I\'d like to give this a chance.  I don\'t have the means to watch it in full, but I\'d like to see if it\'s any good.
