Well, at leas that settles the debate over it being real or not. Hopefully there are parts of it that are going to be a part of the actual script (especially the stuff about Soundwave  ).

About what I figured. Of course, just because it's an abandoned treatment doesn't mean certain aspects won't find their way into the finished product.

Just because they aren't using that script, doesn't mean they won't used an equaly good, if not better script. Beside's, there were a lot of things in that script that needed fine tuning, maybe it'll end up just a modified version.

There is more than one way to make a good movie ya know.

That treatment rocked, sure would be good if it stayed mostly intact. either way, at least its getting a priority to get done before the strike.

 

I agree. For all we know, the treatment that was leaked could have been the rough draft for the one that they are going to use. At least I hope that's the situation, or something similar to that  .

Why couldn't somebody point out that this script is for real in the first place? It would have save us from the horrendous debates.

Oh well... they're not going to use it. Surely they have something better planned for TF2. Though, I do agree with those of you who believed the script was just a rough draft.

There was some really good stuff in that treatment that I hope gets carried over. For instance:

Sam / Bumblebee / Asian Dude road trip across America.

Starscream VS Megatron in the Grand Canyon.

Soundwave

etc

I thought the treatment had merit, such as the "big secret behind Las Vegas," which was a fantastic plot device, but the rest of it was too much of a colossal handjob for fanboys.

 

Bring in the Dinobots!  

 

Guys before you get overly bent out of shape, remember how Bay said that NO ONE had seen the real script and that it was sitting in his Porn Folder within his computer ONLY, but in the end, the movie ended up being very similar to what people had read. This treatment may not be exactly as the movie turns out, but there should be elements.

 

Pity, it was a pretty good treatment. Hopefully the one they do use will have as much characterization of the 'bots as this one did.

And Hot Rod. The one they do use damn well better have Hot Rod. His inclusion was the best part of the leaked treatment.
