One of the local news stations does this thing called "High School Cribs." They show up to local highschools and tape some of the things that are cool about that highschool. Then people are allowed to vote online on which highschool is the best. We came close to winning last year and I would like for the highschool that I teach at to win. I sponsor a club called the Geek Club at the Silver Creek High School and we were featured on the highschool cribs segment. We wear that geek label like a badge of honor and we know what we are. Mainly we get together to watch movies, read comics, play Magic, and have semi-annual Halo tournaments and this spring we will have a Call of Duty 4 tournament. What I need your help on is voting. Here is where you can go to vote, please vote for Silver Creek, we are towards the bottom of the list: http://www.wlky.com/surveypopup/sports/15166902/detail.html Here is the clip from the show showing off Silver Creek: http://wlky.highschoolplaybook.com/group/Silver Creek Thanks
No, I was standing off to the side. They wanted to focus on the students instead of the teachers. What you can't see is how we have our tournaments set up. Its teams of four sitting back to back playing on two movie screens. The kids usually have a lot of fun playing, I'm looking forward to the Call of Duty tournament. Thanks for voting guys.
