    Hi,
I bought some TF's from ioffer for 110 total.
Now I heard some fellow buyers saying this seller from China sends you just a pen! Probably because that way he can prove he sent it.
    Now what shoud I do?
    - I can refuse the package, but what would PP say then?
    - I can file a claim at Paypal for the wrong item sent, but I probably would have to send it back registered, that will cost me a lot!
    - I can file a claim at my CC company, but don't I get problems with Paypal then?

Maybe someone has experienced this similar problem.
    Thanks for your advice!

Go straight to the Credit Card company. Paypal will likely drag their heels, and possibly be of no help at all.

If they refuse to process your credit card after the chargeback, ring the credit card company and tell them your card is lost. They'll change your credit card number, and you can go open a new Paypal account.

A little inconvenient, but you can't have it all.

Try Paypal first and if they're not cooperative go to your credit card company. If you go to your credit card company and tell them the circumstances they will most likely refund your account and pull the money from Paypal. Paypal will then most likely pull the money from the seller's account. I had this same sort of thing happen and that's what I did when Paypal was not cooperating.

I wouldn't tell the credit card company your card is lost when it was you who purchased the items. That's credit card fraud and could get you in big trouble with them. You really don't want to get in trouble with a credit card company. Just be honest with them about what happened and they should help you. They are supposed to protect their customers from things like this.

    His name is:
    kuanling23s

But he already has a new account.
Always has 1 positive feedback, sells a lot of KO TF's and shoes and LV handbags.
Take a couple of 1000's within a day or 2 and creates a new account then.

oh ok cool. I brought my Ko wheeljack from t800pro. Sorry about what happened, what action have you taken thus far?

You should use Pay Pal. They are usually very good and i've always been taken care of.

If you can, either video tape or take pictures of when you open the package. then you will have documented proof of fraud if you need it

I filed a claim for non delivery. it's at my post office right now and I probably won't go get it.
That way they'll send it back to him. Then he has to prove I received it, which he can't.

He will probably get a lot of claims, cause he sold over 50 items within 2 days, mainly LV shoes, bags abd stuff. If we all get a pen, Paypal probably wake up, don't they?

I already bought 1x Mirage and 2x Wheeljacks from t800pro and he is a good seller. Although my Mirage order, which was the 1st, was very good and it came sealed and perfetc. But my 2x Wheeljacks came opened and removed from the plastic bubble and one of them was missing the accessories. But I contacted the seller and he resolved that imediately, he sent me the missing accessories. So, not much to complain, I guess. You'll get your items.

Thanks for telling me about this thread. I'm also a user on this site. And yeah, I'm another person who bought from kuanling23s. I'm receiving my "pen" tomorrow... And I'm thinking about taking photos with my camera, while filming with my webcam and I'll use a ruller to measure the package in the photos. I guess that will be a good way of documenting this fraud, and I'll be speaking as well on the video. Then, I'll go to ioffer again and write to the seller, so that ioffer and PayPal can see that he didn't answer. I'm also going to send him emails to both emails on the invoices and PayPal form him. Then I'll be opening a dispute on ioffer and on PayPal and I'll tell them everything, the pics, video, etc, and tell them to look at his feedback, as well as 2 other stores the guy created which I know: ssmingl2 and ayrenovat. And show that people are all claiming to have received a pen.

Since I'll be showing them me opening the package I guess there's no need to send this back to them...

I think that contacting the CC company will bring real trouble with the CC company and PayPal. I really have to avoid that or I'll probably see my credit card banned from PayPal...

And since my tracking number works I guess it may be best to receive it and show it is a fraud. Or should I refuse the package? Then PayPal will see that I refused it and maybe they won't give me reason.

And since the mail man comes tomorrow I have to decide quickly... or maybe I'll ask him to leave the note to go get the item on the post office. And that way I can just ignore it if I decide to let them send it back, and I also get to see the package. Fortunately that's the only package I'm waiting from China... so there's no mistake. I just want to see its size to see if it's clearly a pen.

But if I let them send it back, won't PayPal be able to see that this package was sent to the correct address and refused? Or is that impossible to know from the tracking number? Because I could say that I didn't get anything or any notice on my mailbox.

Sorry for such a long post... I'm really worried because I spent $100 for 2 Shockwaves and that money is important for me... I don't have that much :(  .

id doubt the scum would waste the extra money to do so , but he could easily use a bigger box and toss the pen in and fill it with light weight materials such as newspaper to fill it up with out signifcantly raising the shipping cost

Now that you say that I actually once received a ridiculous order (although there were no problems, the seller sent the goods in good shape). That time I was sent a targetmaster (Spoilsport from Sureshot) - and I mean the small figure which transforms into a gun - in a big box where you could fit about 50 of them... no problem at all, but... it's really stupid that someone sends such a small thing in such a big box...

Some people do that so that way they can ask more for shipping. They'll make you a great deal, but the shipping will be relatively higher..so that way they can outwin the competitive sellers, but still get a hefty buck for the item they sold.

I think it happened once or twice to me, but I wasn't too bothered with it, since I got the item at a very reasonable price anyway, and the dollar was very low compared to the euro..but strange shipping costs are definitely something you want to keep an eye on.

I hope you guys will recieve your bought items..and if not, be able to get a refund!

Yes, at the time I also didn't bother too much because I always count the total amount, I never buy anything without knowing the shipping cost the seller charges. And it was still a good deal, there wasn't any better that I had seen for the same thing. What bothered me most was that if it was sent like it should it would have fitted in my mailbox and so I wouldn't have to go to the post office and spend some gas to drive my car to there as it is a bit far from my home.

I really doubt we'll ever get the items bought, the seller probably only has pens to send... he takes the pictures from other sellers, so he probably doesn't have any item of those. I'd be really surprised if he had... as for the money, I really have to get it back...

I've received the package, and as expected I received the stupid pen... I took pictures and filmed the opening to use as proof. But it seems it's going to be hard to get PayPal to work on this.

that sucks , we well all need to get the word out on this scumbag so he doesn't rip anyone else off, if we can reduce his possible customer base he will have fewer opertunities to dupe innocent folks out of their money

Unfortunately at least about half of the buyers are non-TFs buyers, so I doubt they'll even see these forums :(  . Even from the TFs buyers not everyone will see this... But I tell you, if I ever see an auction from him I'm going to fill it with comments warning the buyers and report it imediately to ioffer (or eBay if he happens to go to eBay as well).

Did you really ask that? :gen069:  I'm so pissed off that I didn't even look that much at it, I just put that stored with the package in case it's needed by PayPal. But it seems to be couterfeit and has a bad smell... I didn't even checked if it has ink... in fact I don't even care, I just care about my $100 the damn thief took...
