Need help repairing G1 Blaster door

    Hi guys,

    So I took apart my vintage G1 Blaster body attempting to repair the door (wasn't opening), but as I was messing with it, this black plastic and spring came flying out.
    I know the black plastic fits inside the right slot, but where does the spring go?

    Anyone with experience please chime in.

    This video shows it goes under the black plastic. between it and the red body if that makes sense

    Near as I can tell the spring goes in that cavity and that little red clip area goes in the slot above the spring. Tried to draw arrows to show my meaning but I am on a phone so may not be super helpful and clear.
