Any idea how to remove these wheels? It looks like the black center tabs are holding them in place but I have no idea how to remove them w/out breaking anything. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I'm wondering if the best advice would be either significant lubrication and force, or possibly somehow heating up the wheels so the plastic expands. Past that, no clue.

Get a small screwdriver (or something you can use for leverege) and place it one of those notches. Then pry (gently) on the gold a bit... should maybe release the black hub.

From what I've read here....take a solder iron and place it on the center pin (assuming it's metal) and leave it for 30 sec or so. Thorn try to pull the wheel off. This is suppose to expand center of wheel surrounding pin. If it's still hard, run the iron on the pin for another 30 sec. If pin doesn't come off, just repeat steps above then try to remove pin with pliers.

Haven't tried this myself but was gonna try. Nerd to get me another soldering iron.

It's all plastic unfortunately so the soldering iron trick won't work. I think prying it is the only option, maybe i'll give it a try but i'm kinda worried about breaking or chipping the plastic. Thanks.

On a side note ,would you recommend sanding this prior to priming it to paint?

EDIT: Thank you for moving it to the correct forum, sorry about that :p
