This weekend a local store is having a stay at home toy display contest. It says to pose your figures into a scene of your own or a scene from a comic and be creative. I had what I thought was a great idea, but when I put it into place, just didn't look right . Someone got any awesome ideas? I have DCUC, ML, and TFs. ANd tons of Randoms, lots of star wars ships and figures. I have sold almost all my revoltech and gundams, so that idea.
I really like that 1st pic especially with the pose from the cover and the cover in the background. That's awesome the way you have those set up.
I like putting figures from different franchises together into corny, yet practical, scenarios. It humanizes them. And I think it makes the viewer feel like part of the story since they have a better chance of relating to what the characters are dealing with. Edit: Think of a funny situation you have been in yourself and try recreating it with action figures that people would not expect to be in that situation.
That's what I was trying to do and they were just to big for the area I was trying to use them in (dollhouse). Made me sad. But, that's the idea I was going for.
Lol. You might just have to make your own restaurant set, then. You could build a simple backdrop with a few restaurant details on it and just place the figures around some tables and chairs. Do you have a printer? You could print some restaurant backdrops and stick them to cardboard or something to make it look like a restaurant interior. Or, maybe ditch the restaurant look and make it a shwarma picnic on a blanket in the grass or something.
lol. Needs some dialog. Some suggestions: IM & Cap: "Why is every place that serves shawarma infested with insects?" Spidey: "Best shawarma I've ever had" Hulk: "Nothin' but dollhouse food left in here"
If you're crafty, you could pose some of them doing sports. Optimus and company playing basketball comes to mind. I've managed to pick up a decent sized small foam basketball, and I've got Prime and Megs posed taking free throws.
i wish i had pictures still, but i once did a Christmas setup with my tf alternators mixing the reindeer name calling with the Jazz autobot call out
We could have our own ones here. That’s all I been doing in lockdown. Some housework, some TV and some checking out the toys I never get round to...
