I have been playing the single player for a few days now on easy difficulty. I am at the point in Chapter 4 where cliffjumper has to escort the bomb while Jazz triggers it. I either die if I stay out in the open and take out the cons, or the bomb gets destroyed before I can finish hem off. Is here any strategy that can be used. Maybe I have the wrong weapon, since it takes 3-4 shots before those shotgunners fall.

 

If you cant do this on easy then perhaps you should be playing something else.
Like a farming simulator.

 

If you got the DLC, get the Sling Shock cannon. If not, I'd say try the Energon Harvester, it heals you along with taking enemies out very quickly. You should also get a CLUTCH, if you have the blueprints.

 

You could look up a walk through on youtube of someone else playing to kind of see what they do to get through it.

Use a CLUTCH Drone, also watch out for the Decepticons on the second floor. I failed that part of the mission because of those decepticons on the second floor.

 

WHY DOES EVERYONE HAVE TROUBLE WITH THIS! I MEAN REALLY IT ISN'T THAT HARD! I DID IT ON NORMAL THE FIRST TIME THROUGH!

Anyways, make sure your oufitted with a Clutch drone or thermal detonaters, make sure to stay behind the bomb, abling you to see everything, make sure you have some long ranged, fast and powerful weapons on hand, like the neutron assualt rifle, scrapmaker or photon burst rifle, make sure you watch the upper level, once Jazz tells you to take out the remainers, use stealth to take them out quickly, do this right and you won't even lose more than a quarter of health.

Stay clear from shotgunners

 

Yeah, I would agree with most of the advice above. Go with an Energon Recharger and a C.L.U.T.C.H. or Dimensional Decimator, and try not to pick two weapons both with small clips, so you aren't constantly reloading. Keep moving, prioritise taking out shotgunners, and don't forget about the 'Cons on the upper walkways.

 

I understand its because people dont bring the right items.


I would recomend the energon harvestor and take a health recharger also take the black hole bomb to get rid of the largest amount of enimies

 

I would also recommend a Riot Cannon. Takes out soldiers in one shot each, and Shotgunners in two.

 

thanks for the help guys. I had clutch but I didnt use it, stupid me. it was easy once I got the right weapon and CLUTCH.

 

Took me a couple of tries, tho I don't think I used anything anyone suggested...can't remember what I had, maybe the neutron rifle or the shotgun...don't remember what my other weapon was. I found myself doing the stealth and one shot on the guys with the shotguns who would try to kill me, then pick off the guys shooting the bomb easily. I don't think I ever used a single disposable item in the entire game, mostly because I'd forget I had 'em, lol.

 

Just stay clear from shotgunners and you're good.

 

Even on hard, it's not that challenging. Stealth Kills make it very easy.

Sling Shock does help a lot, as does a CLUTCH.

Yeah, going invisible & stealth killing from behind in one blow helps out tremendously.

 

It's fine for people to ask for advice, not everyone is super awesome at gaming. The negative attitude isn't needed.

 

I'll be sure to ask the forum the next time I can't do a simple task.
