IMO, you have to be upfront with her. Tell her during one your dates if she asks you what your hobbies are, but don't geek over it. Simply tell her that you collect TFs and that it's displayed in your room and see what her reaction would be. Show her some pics if she asked too. If it doesn't scare her there, I wouldn't imagine her being scared when she sees it in person.

Yeah. Show her some pics of your collection. Keep the pics in your wallet. Worse in your smart phone. :lol

Bah. Don't sweat it. Guys age better than women. Don't forget.

Better delete that since it has your name on it. The last time someone here mistakenly gave their info, that person's wife got harrassed.

    Then upload it to flickr.com

    Or how to upload here:

    - click post reply
    - click manage attachments
    - click choose file
    - select your photo which looks to be on your desktop
    - click upload
    - save

    I'd choose flickr though.

This is the bedroom. I took some shelves down to get a feel of it. you can kind of tell where they were by following the rails.

Collection's awesome but the robots are staring down at you and your girl.

You'd have a better chances with a man cave AND I don't know anyone here who doesn't want a man cave of their own.

Man cave = fortress of solitude, Bat cave, Cybertron etc...

I want my own library as well.

When you first walk through my door to the house into the living room this is what everyone sees. Anyone have advice on this one? I think its a cool set up.

I dunno. Most people that come into my 'toy room' seem genuinely impressed, guys and gals alike. Granted, I'm married and not bringing 'chicks' around so I don't know if it's a turn off or what they REALLY think of it...but I think keeping it confined to a room keeps it a hobby as opposed to a lifestyle. For some it is a lifestyle...and for those people, they probably need to find a partner that shares in that kind of interest, remain single...or find a very understanding partner. I guess I kinda look at it something like one that's into cars. There's a difference between having a car in the garage that you work on as a hobby as opposed to having multiple cars all over your yard and car parts all over your house. Most chicks would be pretty accepting of the former whereas you're going to have to find a certain kinda girl that would be cool with the latter. What is it for you? Is it a hobby or a lifestyle?

Wow. Seeing how many your collection and how it is set up, I'm changing my vote. You should definitely move your collection in a mancave.
