I used to have the DVD collection of all the Universal Monsters Mummy movies:

The Mummy
The Mummies Ghost

The Mummies Tomb

Listed more so in alphabetical order not theatrical release.

Also the VHS version of the Mummy and the Mummies Tomb.

I even had a Lon Chaney Jr. Mummy mask 1 year for Halloween.

 

Have they hinted at any more Defenders of the Earth figures? I kinda want some 4 armed ice robots to go with Garax. I’m watching the show on YouTube and it’s a serious nostalgia kick. I loved this show as a kid

I got notified by BBTS that the NECA Dracula and IM will be arriving in the next week or so.

 

While it does seem very underwhelming compared to the Mummy set, I still need it. I do think it should have included either a table for the dishes Dracula himself comes with or at least some boxes or dirt.

And while we may not had seen Dracula actually turn into a wolf on screen, it would have still been a nice piece of just included a wolf to signify those scenes when they told us he had been a wolf.

 

Drac and IM came i at BBTS today, so I've got them shipping my POL.

 

Well shit, my POL arrived from BBTS some time today. I just opened up the front door to check the snow and found the box on my doorstep.



The worst part was, I was in my living room all day and FedEx never once knocked on the door.

EDIT:

I've only had the chance to open Dracula and the accessory set. I was surprised to find out that I had to assemble the operating table, which took a good half house. I don't know how I feel about it. Every piece feels extremely fragile to the point where I don't really want to touch it even though I have to.

Dracula is cool, but mine has some issues with two of his heads. His smiling head has a black spot on his cheek while the left eye to his open mouth one was painted with him looking up while the right one is looking forward. Also, the left bat eye has red around it as if it is bleeding. Oh, and I don't know how long the cape will last just clicking around his neck.

 

I saw an Etched Pennywise at my local Walmart this morning. Wasn't that an SDCC exclusive? Wonder if it's worth picking up. I think the tag for it was $59.99 though.

I saw the Dracula figure and accessory set in a hobby store for $40 each. I'll play the long game and pick him up when he's clogging the pegs for $30 at Target.

 

I've seen a number of people say things like that but yet I never seen anything NECA discounted at Target. I've seen photos of some things discounted at Walmart but never Target. Even those Wingnut/Screwloose packs that have been sitting there for months on end.

 

I'm not waiting for a discount just normal retail price which is about $32 instead of the $40 at the hobby shop.

 

I've seen those at Walmart too, but it's been awhile. For whatever reason, SDCC exclusives will randomly show up at Walmarts in some areas. The last time that happened in my neck of the woods, it was the Batman vs Aliens two pack selling for retail price. They were rare though and I never found one myself.
