Yeah, went ahead and ordered me a Part 7 Jason from Amazon on Black Friday and hopefully nothing looks off, but as usual trying to be optimistic.
This release is so much better than the Defenders of the Earth release. Great paint, no stuck joints. I hope the next wave is like this. I need them to do Buck Rogers.

I know NECA made some Robocops in the past, but I wasn't sure about the BD or the mechanical chair thing too. edit. According to their tweet, these are both all new and first time with the unmasked head.
So just to clarify these are new molds? I.e. will he be able to bend at the hip with a swivil to sit in the chair? If its just a reissue, ill buy the battle damage. But if its a new mold with greater range of motion, I'll buy the clean one.
No, these are not new molds, but they have been retooled some (the helmet fits better on the head, for example). The big deal here is the likeness rights of Peter Weller for the alt head, as previously, Neca couldn't obtain the rights until now. Also, @Ezilla82 I am pretty excited

If for nothing else, I want both for the unmasked heads and the mechanical chair. Having two additional Robo figures will be good, too
It's nice they are giving the head with both releases instead of locking it into the more expensive one, which is something I would've expected from a toy company lol.

The chair is tempting, but I already have the original release plus the MAFEX Robocop 3 figure and I don't think I need another one. Plus it doesn't have the rifle.
