I really wish they would have used the newer digital face printing on these Terminator re-releases instead of the same old hand painted heads. Even without the slop, the older painting technique looks so cartoony and flat. I'm talking Diamond Selects levels of paint application here.
Bronx looks good. Didn’t expect to get excited seeing his reveal but I’m ready to add him to my shelves. He will even include draped wings for Goliath. Which is cool, but I’d really prefer some regular non-extended wings if articulated ones aren’t an option though.
Well this was interesting. I saw at my Target a Rhino Xenomorph and the back of the box showed both the Scorpion and Gorilla ones. Did they actually do those or are they just on the box because of the Kenner-styled packaging? I used to have those two figures as a kid, so it might be cool to at least see how nECA did them.
So far Neca has released updated versions of the Gorilla, Mantis, Scorpion, Snake, Rhino (orange and silver variants), queen facehugger, frosted light blue warrior, and the aliens vs predator 2 pack (a toys r us exclusive). There was also an Alien club exclusive warrior release that was painted to match the old Kenner card art. The next releases will be the panther alien and night cougar repaint. If you can find them for a decent price, I would definitely get the gorilla alien first as it's all around a better balanced and built figure. The mantis is a cool sculpt but has balancing issues and is prone to breakage.

Oh hell yeah. That price is an ouch, but I’ve been wanting these characters in plastic form for years.
I saw some custom Sam and Dean Winchester heads on ebay that would go perfectly with that male figure. If I could paint I’d probably consider getting them. I’m kind of surprised there never were any 6-7 inch figures for Supernatural considering how long it was on.
