I'm sure he'd be awesome. I don't own many NECA figures, but, the ones I do have...plus many others I have seen...amaze me. For the most part, they seem like a really good value. The movie Turtles still blow me away every time I look at them.
Didn't even know NECA sold figures in any stores. Is this just target usa? Any other known stores around the world. All import/online only for me.
Toys 'R' Us used to be the main retail source for NECA in the USA, until they closed all their stores. Now, it's really local comic book stores, Target, and GameStop stores. Target was pretty much a chain-wide thing at first, but now a lot of the Targets I've been to don't stock them anymore.
Well, this was a welcome surprise on my doorstop. Wasn't expecting him until Tuesday, guess it helps to live one county south of the manufacturer. Not gonna lie... I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not to cancel my SHF preorder on Amazon. I'm really impressed with this figure. The head doesn't look as misshapen in-hand as pictures made it out to be, and he's crazy solid. The only thing that's really bothering me is that the eyes look too yellow to me. Also, the neck section seems to pop out of the socket a little too easily. Other than that, this may very well be NECA's best Godzilla yet.
Got the Ultimate Edition Alien this weekend from my LCS (opened alien egg, facehugger and chestburster still in the clamshell packaging)
Found 3 sets of turtles at a ghetto target! Don’t know how long they had been there. No tag or nothing. Odd. Regardless, they have 2 sets now.
What I miss most about that was the free shipping on TRU.com. No way I'm paying Neca directly $10.99 to ship something. On top of the new higher price it comes out to like $40 for a figure I used to pay like $22 for.
Can't say if it's the same at all Targets, but the one by my work just had stuff sitting in the back not being put out. I think it's the Neca employees themselves who put the stock out instead of Target employees and they might be short staffed? I ran into a lady who works for Neca this past Friday and she was putting things out like the most recent Predator series which came out a while back, plus the Alien vs Predator figures which I found back in January but never seen at that Target until few days ago lol
I think a lot of them got overflow stock from Toys R Us, because I don't remember seeing any of it before. My Target has that reissue wave of Godzillas in so I guess they decided to be in it for the long haul. I didn't even think about what would happen if they stopped. It would be a disaster.
Got the new Gamer Gremlin today... They only had gotten in two today plus one Well House Pennywise & a NES Jason, I already got NES Jason earlier this week & I have the Well House Pennywise sitting in my Pile of Loot I now have four Gremlins in my collection
