Catching the Raps-Suns postgame and saw GSW-Min was close and decided to tune in from the 4th q...of course this is where the T-Wolves (like most teams) run out of gas. This is what I get for staying up late.

When the Warriors start playing D instead of lazily reaching and fouling, that's when opposing teams realize they're tied to the rails with the freight train coming.

Who would've known that Jerebko and McKinnie are upgrades over Casspi and McCaw for the Warriors.

effectiveness of role player swaps are rarely followed outside the diehard fans on a team where the starting 5 is accountable for 99.9% of their wins...

I have the Warriors on LP, watch every game, follow the team pretty closely and even then I didn't think Jerebko and McKinnie would be this big of a surprise of an upgrade over Casspi and McCaw.

Pulled the trigger on the D-Wade "Vice Nights" jersey. While I'm not exactly a Heat nor Wade fan, there's no denying Miami's far and away got THE best City Editions.

This year's OVO Raptors stuff I'm not too high on (liked last year's black better than the current white) however I must admit it is growing on me.

Jimmy Buckets to the Sixers!!!! Damn, top of the EC just got a whole lot more interesting. Even with all the talent pre-trade, seemed like many didn't think Philly was a legit contender before but now...

I lost some respect for Jimmy Butler. He's a good player but he didn't do things the right way, even if he was right about those guys not having heart and whatever. The future was definitely brighter with Jimmy seeing as we haven't sniffed the playoffs before Jimmy got here but idk, the whole thing is shitty.

The insistence of trying to make Jimmy stay in Minnesota should've never happened.

The owner was right in that aspect. Why keep a guy around if he doesn't want to be there? Had they dealt him earlier, they could've saved a lot of embarrassment.

I mistakenly assumed Tibbs and Butler were BFFs after he helped pull Butler from role player obscurity into that fat extension in Chicago.

Is anyone else surprised by Doncic's relatively easy transition to the NBA? Already playing like a veteran at 19 with the floater, reliable 3pter and super efficient 20ppg at >50% fg.

So Melo is on his way out in Houston?

Guy just needs to realize his career has come to a close.

Has Melo ever done much in Playoffs? I remember one if not the 1st time he made it when he was on Denver, they played the T-Wolves when KG was still here. Other than that I remember the Knicks beating the Celtics one of the last years before they broke up the big 3 and Rondo. Maybe he's had a few more playoff wins then I remember but most of the time he played for the Knicks he was on bad teams. I was never a big fan of his, he liked iso ball way too much, never was much for defense. I just remember his teams doing much. Most excited I got was when AI joined him in Denver.

Draymond suspended one game for yesterday's blow up on the bench and locker room.

This may be the first step in him leaving for FA.

This KD/Draymond thing happening is precisely why I felt KD coming to the Warriors was bittersweet.

Yeah the rings are nice, but after he arrived, I've always felt that the Warriors lost the fun, carefree identity they had with the 73-9 team and first championship. The sense of camaraderie and family was far stronger.

This may sound blasphemous from a basketball standpoint, but I really do think if the Warriors back KD over Draymond, it would be a bad move.

I was expecting KD to leave after this season and all that's happened pretty much cements it in my mind.

And now that the team suspended Draymond, I expect him to leave when his contract is up too.

Both boneheads had to go and screw up a good thing.

Time will tell, man. I have been hearing that KD isn't really happy there, but that could all be just a big HE TELL ME situation.
