A C-clip that is soft and breaks easily.

Also note that the fins on the lower legs/tank turret are held in by friction alone, and are easy to pull out.

Ouch.... Sorry to hear about the break bud. Shame that this larger version broke when the original IF version is even smaller and I don't recall any breakages of that clip. Guess that's the gamble with KOs...

The friction connection can be tightened easily. If yours is loose, put a coat of clear nail polish on the pegs and let it set overnight. Once set it should make the friction connection nice and tight.

I tried to take the nosecone off. Saw stress and are leaving it be. I was actually coming here to ask about it.

No worries, just cheaper plastics. I guess I'll be modelling a replacement for that piece to fit better.

Anyone have any accessory requests? I'm thinking a small adapter to allow for shoulder mounting the nose G1-style, and possibly something to attach the middle ramp to his back.

Well now I feel bad for mentioning it... Eh heh heh....

At least it sounds like you have the means to remedy it. Interested to see what you come up with for attaching it to the shoulder as well. I was looking to see if there was some secret way to do it and was disappointed.

He's the shit. The nosecone is the only problem. That C-clip...

There is a particular way that the c-clip for the nosecone is supposed to be removed. If you just try to pull it off you will cause damage.

What you need to do is raise the nosecone so that it is pointing straight out the back of bot mode with the c-clip vertical.
Then you push the nosecone toward the head and the c-clip will pop out without stress.

I have the original and the knock-off and the same method works on both.

This upscale of Iron Factory's Evil Lord makes him pretty much the perfect size for his Legends scaled Autobot enemies (and Decepticon 'allies'), while the Carnifex head rip truly breathes new life into what has always been my definitive (shots fired!) iteration of IDW Overlord.

Compared with Iron Factory Evillord: upload_2018-2-20_20-34-13.png

    upload_2018-2-20_20-33-54.png

...and in case you were wondering, you CAN swap legs between the two (NB resized the peg holes to maintain 5mm compatibility.

This looks better with Evillord's torso and NB-01's legs...

I finally decided to get this to go with my mft sixshot, and I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I like it. My initial fears turned out to be completely unfounded

That is one heck of a figure. Incredibly big too. But I still prefer the look of TT Overlord

I'll second that, and there's quite a few others in the MFT threads who would vouch for him too.
