My kit came in the mail this week...

So i put him together and took some pictures next to universe overload wearing the prototype cannons and roadbuster with the kit....






take a gander at roadbuster's lower front legs...i was pressing on the green tab square area and it pressed in and swung around and BINGO...more missle banks...FTW!

Got mine yesterday, and I can safely say it's pretty cool.

I have a few minor nitpicks, but they're all relatively small - the color isn't a perfect match, but that's understandable; and the finished head is a tad large - it looks slightly unwieldy on his shoulders, but more importantly, his vehicle front doesn't want to close completely around it - I solved this to an extent by turning his head to the side, but there's still a little bit of a gap there...

Overall, this is a pretty cool piece, and highly recommended.

 

got my set today....it's great...as someone said before the colors aren't a great match, but they're certainly good enough

 

Sort of, send in your order and it will go on our waiting list, once I've done all of the pre-orders, we'll see if the wait list numbers justify making more (present numbers point to yes).

 

I was using a formula I wrote down when I mixed the first batch of brown (which I color matched to the toy). I must have written it down wrong because I noticed yesterday that the current color mix I've been using for the brown parts is a little thin. I've tossed all of the bad ones, and I'm fixing the problem by recasting the parts in a better color (so if you've payed within the last two days or so there will be a little delay). If you've received a helmet that is more than "just a little" lighter than it should be, let me know and I'll get you a new one.

hey, Nate I preordered but haven't heard anything yet, I take it you're working through the preorders still?

 

Yeah, I'm just starting to hit the manufacturing pretty hard now, so only a few preorders have gone out so far. With any luck, everyone with a preorder should be notified within the next 2-3 weeks. (I know I say that a lot, I hope I mean it this time :/ )

Got my invoice today, but I got an invoice for the incomplete set (head and rifle) and not for the full set (head, rifle, and cannon). I sent you an e-mail a while back about upgrading my order to the full set which you said was ok.

Should I wait for a corrected invoice? Or just pay the one I have and wait for an invoice for the cannon?

Hi Nate, I got a response a while back about getting my order corrected. I was told I'd get a new invoice within a couple of days, but that was several weeks ago now. I sent another e-mail about this to the natobot e-mail address but haven't gotten a response yet, so I though I'd make mention of it here just so one of you guys see it.

For those that got there sets, how long did it take? I got my invoice a while back, paid within 10 days, and had a paypal shipping label printed (according to paypal) on May 13th, but all I get with the "Check shipment" option on paypal is "the post office has been notified to expect your package for mailing..." text.
