Dear lord, and here I am in Idaho whining about 20 degrees. I hope you guys aren't frozen or anything who live around there.

I shall still whine about our 20 degrees. ;)

That sucks though. I'd move. I'm a wimp.

Are you typing on a magical ice computer?

I guess we can still whine. :D  It's so BEAUTIFUL today though. Is it like 50 here? I'm ready to go swimming and wear shorts and everything. That's how excited I am about 50 degrees.

Yesterday the high was 8 degrees here. Low as -2. I may get out my winter coat and put my fall one away. Not sure though as it's supposed to get back into the 20's this week.

wow. It gets to be -40 degrees here regularly in the winter. I'm located about 2 hours north of Minot North Dakota in the hinterland of the Canadian Prairies. Of couse that's -40 Celsius but I believe that -40 degrees is where celsius and farenheit are the same. The other week it was -53 Celsus here with the windchill (that's -63.4 for you Americans).

Sorry if I don't cry a tear for those in International Falls.

Icebox? That's the name I use for this, uh, non-affectionate girl I know. Just don't tell her I said so.

So if you tried to pee on someone from atop a hill, they'd get a yellow icicle in the eye

    I don't believe this number.

    Why?

Well, it must have been recorded by someone who lives there. But anyone who lives somewhere that cold is, by my standard, completely out of their mind.

So I can't trust any data they've collected. Therefore, I don't believe it's that cold until we send in some sort of weather robot. That reports via satellite. To me.

Yeah, we've been -40-50 around here the last 2 weeks, it's starting to warm now though to a balmy -28.

The coldest I've ever personally experienced was -27 F while I was at Purdue. I've gotta say, below -5 or -10, I've never been able to feel a difference.

Word. The media sure haven't been talking about it much recently, have they?

I say bring on the global warming. My gas bill's too damned high.

    Also, squirrelcar's weather robot FTW.
