I feel ya. I just got into it, and have tried to grab stuff here or there on in stock sales. I wasn’t really looking forward to the reveal since these two factions aren’t really my personal wheelhouse. But, there were some that I thought were pretty nifty. I haven’t ordered anything yet, because I don’t want to be caught in the rush of the new. For me, I need to make sure I want it vs. fear of missing out. I had no desire for any of the mounts, but dang, that moose is cool...and then the centipede horse...then looking back at the fire horse... But where do I display, and, if I don’t display and hold for trade bait, where do I store it all?
Yup, there's some cool stuff, for sure. I might still pick up the two elves and that Vallak vampire guy with the falcon (I like his outfit a lot). Volligar would be cool except for the soft goods... I'm not really into soft goods on these figures. The horses would be cool but just take up way too much space.
Not a Troll size, the Ogre mold figures. I'm like 99.9% sure they said that the Equaddron heads are swappable to the horses themselves. Yeah, it'll require some paint but it should work. Looking at all of the recent horses that went up and Equaddron, they've been cleverly hiding a part break on the horses neck area to swap out the parts with a reigns or a neck color. The moose is a lot different adding in a big hump in the neck. They also sculpted new lower legs for the moose too. Definitely need the armored neck parts of Equaddron to put a different head on the Ogre body.
Yes, you can put the horse head on the ogre body, making animal headed ogres. Also you can place V1 waists on horse bodies making centaurs.
I hope they make an unicorn and I know some other company made one, but I like to see what the Four Horsemen can do with their take of an unicorn.
Well the demon horse is perfect for War's Ruin, the Vampire horse perfect for Fury's Rampage bcuz it looks a tad bit feminine, so that leaves the pale and white horses for Death and Strife respectfully, the giant horse dudes head works great for a base of Death's horse Ruin, which i could throw on 1 of the 4 Swiftwinds i bought to even start these customs years ago, and then I just have to armor up Mayhem since that would leave me 3 white horses to play with

no my bad, i was using the names of the Customs i want to do or more inspired by since i don't know how to sculpt, i want to do Darksiders (its a videogame about the four horsemen of the apocalypse) and the horses being made by Mythic Legends work in a lot of ways for what i want to do
I know Darksiders. 3 was a pretty good Dark Souls clone. A good mix between Bloodborne and Souls actually. Didn't realize you were referring to that.
Does anyone know if Illythia is going to be up for pre-order at BBTS, or only on the Fourhoursemen site?
Yeah so it's cheaper but you pay up front shipping and all when you order directly from them. The wait sucks, but it is nice to have the order show up without any additional payments months from now lol. BBTS and a couple other sites then sell them later. You're basically getting wholesale price when you order direct from 4H. They do the same prices for their in stock sale after release, but they don't do the all-in lower priced full wave at that time.
Do we know how long the Illythia pre-order window will stay open? I've been poking around on Store Horsemen and other sites and haven't been able to find an end-date for it...
They typically don't announce the end date immediately, but will in like 2-3 weeks. So they'll give notice for when it'll end. They'd screw themselves out of a lot of orders by just closing it randomly.
long as it's live til the first so i can order the horse Phobus, i think i have my 4 horse planned out, Phobus, Aethon, Ginga, and Swiftwind, i curently have 1 of 4 & 4 of that 1 lol
