Interesting. I wonder how it's going to affect BBTS supply. I get most of my stuff through them because I don't have to pay up front when ordering, which I presume is how FourHorsemen's store works since this is still technically considered a 'crowdfunding' business model.

I had to cancel my Army Builders stuff a while back, but am hoping I can still snag at least one of each before BBTS sells out of their stock. All-Stars Wave 5, who would have thought we'd get that far along in this toyline to such a thing? FourHorsemen are the only ones offering any kind of ongoing fantasy inspired toyline that isn't a Mass Market IP franchise and I'm really glad for them. I hope Cosmic Legions proves just as fruitful to them because if the Sci-Fi concept works as well as the Fantasy concept I'm kind of hoping we'll get to see something else from them. Maybe something like Frontier Legions. I could go for a couple of waves of cowboys and cattle rustlers. Especially if it leads to some more animal designs. A few bears and wolves to go with the Native American faction, I know there's the PC issues that might crop up following such a thing since Westerns as popular anymore, that being said, the Native Americans have the most interesting folklore and I'd enjoy seeing some properly scaled figures inspired by the likes of Coyote and Raven.

I like a lot of your suggestions. Just wanted to point out, though, that Boss Fight has their Vitruvian Hacks 3.75" line. They're starting a new 6" line as well.

I saw a screenshot from the 4H o'clock show on Facebook where they showed the figure without the helm/pauldrons on it. I didn't realize that the it was a chest piece with the sword/lettering on it. So that's cool for army building. I thought that was on the chest itself so thought it limited the figure a bit. Now may buy more than 1 haha.

I placed my order on Saturday/Sunday. Then Jeremy said you need at least an extra Turpiculi for what is coming in All Star 6. I hadn’t ordered any, so once I finished playing around with the shipping, I ended up ordering three. THEN, I started watching Mythic Customs and they showed the army builder possibility of Greg The Brute, and I’m trying to see if there is going to be an extra order for him now too…

Edit…man, shipping is the same whether I order 1,2 or 3 Brutes.

    Here’s what that looks like:

I love most of what’s in this wave, but I’m starting to get priced out based on the higher costs of the figures and shipping. Still debating if I’ll shoot for one figure at least, or just take my chances on retailers’ prices being close to what I’d pay 4H after shipping & taxes.

Any predictions on what he meant by this? Is there an upcoming All-Stars figure that could benefit from Turpiculi parts?

I already ordered an All-In. I wonder if I could order another Turpiculi and ask them to combine shipping.

They had mentioned that there would be more figures that go along with this wave in the next All-Stars. The last All-Stars wave had a lot more new figures along with the rereleases, and that’ll probably continue this year. Turpiculi will most likely go with a new figure.

Unfortunately, they won’t combine shipping on separate orders. That’s a policy they’ve always practiced.

Depending on where you live, shipping for one figure might be a lot more than you want to spend. It might work out the same or better for you to wait for preorders to open up at other retailers, and then order from them instead. Then you’ll also have the benefit of waiting to pay until they’re in stock, and you can see what this other figure will be and decide if you do want another Turpiculi or not.

Yeah, something in AS6 is going to pair with Turp. I hadn’t ordered any extra, so I made a second purchase, but with more than 1 fig to offset shipping.

Cool, thanks for the info. Good to know about their shipping policy. And that’s good advice about buying a second one from a secondary retailer.

Cool, thanks for the reply! Interesting. Yeah, I guess I’ll pick up a second one too, haha… either from SH or elsewhere. :)

Yea, I didn't go all in, but I think I bought like 8/14 of the wave. I may go back and get the turpiculi but I doubt it. The few I did not get was the aforementioned, both steeds, Aldaric, Ucczajk, and Belualyth.

I put in a relatively smallish order, with the shipping and tax, it's def worth not having to fork over hundreds of dollars to save maybe $50-75 for me and be out of that money for a year+ and just order from Mallfish or Empire.

Went ahead and ordered an extra Turpiculi from BBTS. Also threw in an extra Harvester, so I can have him in both his decked-out version and have one as just a classic Grim Reaper.

I sold off my ML about 2 years ago. I only Vitus and a Scaphoid left. I jumped in on Heavensbrand and Bishop and the 2 other knights and Maxillus. Nercronominus and the bad guys look cool but a little unwieldy. It also made me snag Arrizak, Scrollwarder, Duban and a Flock Guard. Cause they just look classic DnD

I assume we’re up for an Aetherblade V2 and crew for the next wave?

I don’t know what I am thinking and should not look at these figures.

They posted today that they're going to have 4 weeks of sales; 3 Saturday sales of test shots and the last saturday is the instock for standard versions of the LegionsCon figures. $35 for Unknown One and $37 for the other two, which are packed separately now and just missing the exclusive items. The big deal here is them putting up the Cosmic Legions test shots months before the wave will get to us.

    1/28 12EST Illythia test shots
2/4 12EST Deluxe Legion Builder, LegionsCon, and Headless Horseman test shots
2/11 12EST Cosmic Legions Hvalkatar test shots
2/18 12EST the in stock sale of the LegionsCon figures.

    $45 for the Unknown One.

For those interested, Test Shots go really, really fast. and that was back before the community grew so much these past two years. If your browser had any optimization options for credit card info or whatever, do that in advance. IMHO, pick just one and check out immediately. Odds are low that you’ll actually get through, but it is what it is.

For the Legions Con figures, it is a good sign that they are authorizing up to 12 each within first 24. That’s indicative of very healthy supplies. But we thought that with the legion builder reinforcements and those went fast. The customer base is expanding and what was plentiful before could be slim now. Fair price for Unkown One and a good deal that the other two still go for 35 with the extra head and weapons. Red color scheme is great and the newer armor pieces can be repurposed for a lot of different uses/genres.

It would be cool to get another test shot, but I’m excited for the furious four.
