Would you guy's watch a Mythbusters cartoon?
Everytime I watch Mythbusters and see their animations, I keep thinking they should do a cartoon. I think it would be awesome, hilarious, and very funny.
    Would you watch it?

It would kind of defeat the purpose of scientific methods used to bust myths. Plus cartoon explosions aren't as cool as the real thing.

I'd love it - kinda like Scooby-Doo crossed with MacGyver, Adam, Jamie, and the Build Team could roll into a small town and stumble upon some supernatural mystery that they have to blow the lid off of - teaching science to kids while they examine the clues and prove that the Bigfoot monster is really just Mr. Grumble looking to get the Mayor to move so he can buy the land cheap or something.

Yeah, Mythbusters is cool because it's real-life science and busting real-life myths.

Removing the real-life aspect kinda destroys the entire point of the show.

Jamie's Stache could never be properly recreated in animation!

Nah I don't think so. I'd rather stick to the original show.

This suggestion makes me want to project vomit on the far wall.

Give me the real stuff, or nothing at all.

Actually, just the real stuff. Don't take Mythbusters away!

They could use all of ILM's rendering powers to CGI it. Maybe cause a meltdown like when ROTF Devestator was being rendered.

No, but it doesn't need to be a it's own show.

I think it depends on the format:

Based on their real life busting of myths - No way

A one time special fake with cartoon MBs busting cartoon myths/physics - ok

a MB team going on mad cap adventures and use science and physics to solve mysteries? Sure..

Sadly it can't be CG... not enough computing power in the world to properly render Jamie's stache..

I was thinking the cartoons would be as simple as the animations they already use in the show.

Late at night, when no one is around, Simulaide Sally plots to take over the world. But, Buster always manages to foil her plans, before the shop opens again in the morning.

This could be done as Snidely Whiplash vs. Dudley Do-Right, or more in the vein of Pinky and the Brain.
