I use Testors Acrylics. The specific color I used for Springer is "Flouresent Green"; it's one of the few single bottles of Testors Acrylics that my local Wal-mart carries.
Doh! What can I say man? Good eyes! One of the reasons I love posting is that we get tunnel vision when we work on our projects and then we post pics and someone is like "oh, hey dude, you didn't see this did you?" Then I am like "you're right, I didn't!" Anyways, problem fixed and I hope to have more pics up soon (I have also finished a few more and I also need to take robot mode pics). Thanks again!
Those are looking pretty good, supersquad7. Springer's color looks much better with no flash photography. I'd like to see a closer shot of him in 'bot mode.
Well, I just hate my digicam, but I am thankful for it just the same. Bot mode pics of all of them are coming . . .
Springer and Stakeout Look really good! I like how the heads were made on both. Not a big fan of Green but it definately works! Keep up the awesome work!
New Pics Hey guys, I added a few more pics in my "WIP" folder. Enjoy! Note: I intend to take more (better) pics later; a forum member asked if I take pics as I go.
I've just been using various inkjet adhedsive papers that you can find at Staples, Office Max, Wal-mart, and Big Lots!
I'm glad you like my results. The papers have their pros and cons, but they work well for the most part. I can't afford to go commercial, but the results I get are pretty close.
