3 days (or I should say nights) of playing with my white paint, which is thicker, doesn't bind well to the plastic like my other colours do, and ended up being harder to do than expected. I did take the figure completely apart so to ensure a better result. Not perfect but it came out fairly well.
this so cool! she kinda reminds me of the F-69 VTOL from Saints Row The Third and IV, and you just gave me an idea! but still, amazing work!
Ooh! She's very cool! Is she a concept you came up with? I understand your frustration. White paint is a real pain in the rear.
Thanks, nothing in particular in terms of character, just a case that she's been my favourite toy for a while, then her waist broke, so she was "retired" as a display piece as I wasn't able to fix her in a way that she was that solid (but I did get a few spares "in case", so took another one out), but as being such an important toy to my collection, I figures that she would be great as a "test" subject to practice my painting skills on as regardless of how she came out, she'd be something new, even if she was to stay a display piece. Thanks, basically, it's the Macross Valkyries (or original Jetfire) that were my main inspiration. I am considering a few more touch-ups and possibly a few more details, but for now, she's simply gorgeous.. if I could have managed to get the paint to spread and coat better not as thick as I ended up having to do, compared to how my Red Wing came out, she'd be absolutely amazing.
I love the paint scheme! Your choices on her face details really give her a very dangerous, very alien vibe. Nice job!
