not sure if this is now the "lossing weight topic" but every one that is trying to loss weight is doing so great! for my own journey i started in october last year so i changed my eating habits. Started working out. (i checked it in lb but that is just going to make it worse but oke.. will post kg/lb so hopefully the numbers are correct..) Start date: 3 october 2022 134,1kg / 295,64lb Last check: 5 may 2023 114,8kg / 253,09lb My first goal is: 99,9kg / 220lb After that i want to try and go to around 80kg / 176lb Not sure if i will ever make it to the 80kg or around it but i want to try. It's still a long way. After losing 19,3kg / 42,54lb/ i feel much better. Less tired. And i enjoy my life more.
I weighed myself in mid march and I was disappointed that I have gained 7 pounds. i can’t exercise so I did my routine again and I’m down to 249. F***in A, man. F***in A.
Good to hear. I gained a bit in April. Spent too many outings eating like a Survivor competitor at a free all you can eat buffet. But hey, it the long haul not a sprint.
Ugh. I've basically reached the stall phase. I had a couple setbacks recently. I got sick for the first time in years, so I missed the whole week of going to the gym. The following week was Spring break and there was no way I was going to my gym that week because all the parents come dump their kids off and parking is a bitch. Not to mention they let them run around unsupervised. Work has been scheduling more too which cuts into gym time. We had a few sunny days here so I went walking the river dike 5 days in a row. But stupid me decided to go to the grassy part of the trail and my lower legs developed a rash. Now I'm sidelined again waiting for it to clear up. Hopefully I can get back to my routine again soon.
Can attest. 5 feet tall and 100-105 lbs. If I go over that weight, you can definitely see it and I can definitely feel it. Lol
First time in a very long time I've bench pressed 40kg (88 lbs) free weights. 60kg (132 lbs) total if including bar. Surprised myself. Last occurrence would have been in my early 20s.
@galvatran while I laud you on the lb-dage...try not to focus on the gravity thing and focus more on reps UNLESS of course, you are actually trying to get strong...I do the bodybuilding thing and that is mostly volume for that "hawt" bod thing
Nah, bodybuilding isn't my thing nor could I ever achieve such body form without plastic surgery, lots of it. I need to include resistance training to arrest muscle loss while losing weight. I wanted to see how much I could push myself today. Did 5 sets x 10 presses. Whilst it doesn't sound impressive (it isn't), 60kg is nearly equivalent to my body mass.
@galvatran nah it's very impressive...the majority of ppl exaggerate things they shouldn't and minimize selectively. Being realistic is always the best step. You don't know how many times I grow tired of "I'm 4% body fat"...I can do this and that...."hrgh...grh". "I used to!" lol "Bodybuilding" is awesome though...the natural stuff, not the magazines, just the concept of the types of workout. Because you are focused on "building" muscle, you decrease or lose basically all instances of injury. Like the cliche stories one often finds about X football X basketball X any sports that got into BB (albeit with steroids), they get injured, and while they rehab, they start building muscle and get hooked. But basically, if you're a natural bodybuilder, you will never look big in any fashion with clothing on. This is the idea...and I would even give Yuji 8-9% bodyfat...genes! BTW 13-17% is healthy and with 4-6 pack sfw
Finally have cracked into the high 230lbs. range. Walking 4, sometimes 8 miles a day and I've started a kettlebell workout to lose more body fat. I feel great and am hoping to get down to my goal of 200lbs. by the end of summer.
I hit 188 and weight I haven't been since I was 18, so 21 years ago. I also achieved my lowest a1c test of 5.5%, diabetics you know what I'm talking about.
Oh man, I’m closer to my goal of weighing under 220 lbs. currently 234. Last time I checked my a1c was at 5.0%. my blood sugar this morning was 70
Well done fellas. Achieving milestones is a great feeling. I unfortunately gone up. Colder mornings, work being busiest I've experienced, eating out way too often & me being a lazy ass are just some of the excuses I tell myself. I definitely feel the extra weight on my knees. I take motivation from ya all.
so i havebt updated in a while. My weight has stabilized between 149 and 151. I ordered the batman costume 2 weeks ago and it was finished yesterday and ships tomorrow! Can't wait to show everytone pictures
