It's good man She is doing better and the other little one is just sick. One day at a time. (multi sick kids suck for those who have not experienced it)
Livi woke up a few times overnight, I think because she's not used to her bed anymore. Had a pretty good first day home. Her sister Jozie had her laughing hysterically, which it seems that only she is able to do. She's still having trouble walking but I know that's going to take time. The doctors said it was due to a combination of the cancer, the antibiotics, and the steroids she's on
As if the Ginger-vitus wasn't enough to give her a temper ;: She had a spinal tap this morning, went pretty well. Not much sign of the leukemia at this time, so she's where she needs to be. Treatment still continues though. Goes for another spinal tap next week.
She gets to see Spinal Tap twice in a week? Mannn, they rock out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6Fc_5slG_Q
The second one is scheduled for Friday, the 5th, so it's a whole week later.. They also give her chemo medicine directly into the spinal fluid at that time. The doctors have told us that they've found that if they don't treat the spinal fluid along with the other treatments, then the leukemia retreats to the spinal fluid and builds itself back up
