Man, you just can't catch a break. Hope the prognosis improves for both of them.
Thinking about your family and praying for continued good health.
It's good man
She is doing better and the other little one is just sick. One day at a time.
(multi sick kids suck for those who have not experienced it)
We're breaking out today
Good to hear!
glad to hear it, keep us posted
I expect to see car chase footage later. or at least wagon chase footage.
Nah man.. I want to see some slow motion shots with fireworks in the background.
YAY!! All the best!
Livi woke up a few times overnight, I think because she's not used to her bed anymore.
Had a pretty good first day home. Her sister Jozie had her laughing hysterically, which it seems that only she is able to do. She's still having trouble walking but I know that's going to take time. The doctors said it was due to a combination of the cancer, the antibiotics, and the steroids she's on
You gonna have a swole kid. The real hulk in the family. Glad to hear her spirits are up.
As if the Ginger-vitus wasn't enough to give her a temper ;:
She had a spinal tap this morning, went pretty well. Not much sign of the leukemia at this time, so she's where she needs to be. Treatment still continues though.
Goes for another spinal tap next week.
She gets to see Spinal Tap twice in a week? Mannn, they rock out.
Many congrats on the recovery. It may be a hard road, but it's worth it.
So the recovery is turned up to 11..
The second one is scheduled for Friday, the 5th, so it's a whole week later..
They also give her chemo medicine directly into the spinal fluid at that time. The doctors have told us that they've found that if they don't treat the spinal fluid along with the other treatments, then the leukemia retreats to the spinal fluid and builds itself back up
That makes sense, best of luck to her!
glad to hear your daughter is home. I hope her recovery continues on pace.
Glad to hear your little girl is on the mend! Happier days are ahead.
