Hey Everyone, I'm new to the boards and Transformers scene, and I could really use this community's help. Since 2005, my first love has been GIJOE when I started my collecting journey and currently still is! But I recently learned about the re-release of that MP-08 Masterpiece Grimlock so I signed up just yesterday in hopes of tracking one down if anyone here has one for sale to help a new TF collector out? I'm looking for the 1st original MP-08 release from 2007 in particular but am open to the new re-release with the flame and die cast crown too (last resort being BBTS). I was just hoping to avoid the hand issue involving with the re-release where I'm reading/hearing several folks say that this MP Grimlock hand doesn't grip well.. In the meantime, here are my current WANTS: G1 SOUNDWAVE (1984) ONLY need two chrome missiles with little to no play wear. G1 CONSTRUCTICONS (1985) • BONECRUSHER Just need his chrome drill projectile/missile thing. • HOOK • LONG HAUL (PENDING) • MIXMASTER I just need the single missile with little to no chrome wear if possible. • SCAVENGER Only need his laser pistol and the chrome drill projectile/missile thing with little to no wear if possible. • SCRAPPER MP-13, TF Masterpiece SOUNDWAVE (2013) MP-15, TF Masterpiece RUMBLE & JAGUAR (2013) MP-16, TF Masterpiece FRENZY & BUZZSAW (2013) G1 DINOBOTS (1985) • GRIMLOCK Need sword, gun and missiles • SLAG • SLUDGE • SNARL • SWOOP MP-08, TF Masterpiece GRIMLOCK (2007) SDCC 2013 SNAKE EYES 100% complete with file card (PENDING) The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (Special Extended DVD Edition) The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (Special Extended DVD Edition) The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (Special Extended DVD Edition) I would love to also acquire these DVDs especially if they are the Collector's DVD Gift Set that came with the extra perks: But it's no big deal if I don't, I just want these special extended DVDs the most and I will be happy. I need the DVD discs to be like new (with no scratches if possible) and ORIGINAL; burned copies or replicas pawned off as actual DVDs is not acceptable for me! if you're not opposed to KOs, there are places that sell the Dinobot G1 figs with boxes and everything. Transformers G1 Reissue Remake X 5 Dinobots Figure Set for sale Not sure of the quality, you can ask in the KO thread in the 3rd party section. I have a MP Grimlock, were you looking for Hasbro or Takara
Oh wow, I'm slowly learning about all the alternatives out there for collecting G1 - thank you! Do you how these compare to the originals? I'm ideally looking for the Takara release of MP Grimlock, and not the Hasbro one.
From what I've read they are pretty good with Swoop being the possible hit or miss one. Do a quick google seach on G1 KO Dinobots and you'll see some videos and forum discussions. Good luck! They also make KO of the Devastator gift set, even in different colors. I think those are supposed to be pretty good too
