Absolutely love those large, lit display cases! I would love to do this when I get out of apartment living and own my future home :D  Thanks for the inspiration!

Dude, that is pretty sweet! I absolutely love how you have the Fort Max in the middle like that. Awesome.

    Update time:

I went to add a few pictures on here and lo and behold the thread was actually active again. Interesting timing I suppose.

After seeing what changes can be made to the Takara 2010 Primus (thanks Sidewayz), I decided to grab one when he went on sale:

    Close-Up:
Luckily I had a spare Hasbro Primus that I could cannibalize. It took me many many hours, but I think it turned out rather well. Changing the pieces from tan to black made all the difference. Now it actually looks like Cybertron.

The updated display of The Creator and The Chaos Bringer, both Hasbro and Takara versions, alt and bot modes:

I also bought the Throne of Chaos for Unicron, I can't recommend this enough. It is vastly superior to unicron.com's stand:

I also finally got my iGear Ramjet and I freaking love him. I already have places for the other two right next to him. Hopefully I'll have them all in a few weeks.

Here is a crappy picture of my DotM display. There really isn't all that much there, since there aren't that many figures from the line that appeal to me. I did grab the Takara Voyager Prime though:

    Finally, my centerpiece, Model Prime:

    And the Prime bookcase:

This guy was worth the time it took to put him together. He is amazing and fits in perfectly with the Prime bust and Matrix.

WOW!!!! This collection is epic on a scale I don't even have words for. I can't imagine a wife allowing anything like this without SERIOUS bribery... :)

That dual kit Prime is fantastic. You are very lucky to have one. He absolutely should be your centerpiece.

:jawdropper:  Two of the things I like most. Home theaters and transformers. Wow man... You have inspired me. DMK Optimus is definitely worthy of a center piece. I can't stop looking at mine.

Hey I want to warn you for the sake of your collection. Are the lights your using tungsten or LED? Are they on dimmers? I ask only because I used to work in retail with extremely expensive stuff that were lit with those type of tungsten lights on a display like yours. After prolonged exposure (maybe months?) the color faded drastically. Needless to say the items were ruined and were written off as a loss.

That's one of the best display's I've seen. Very nice!

The tube lights in the main display cases have UV protective covers over them. The smaller spotlights in the other cabinets do not have anything covering them to protect the figures.

    Thanks for the heads-up.

It is a shame that they no longer make that 2 big showcases that you have.
It is the best and most ideal one for displaying transformers.

It is actually quite disappointing. The cases are great quality, the price was amazing, and I could use probably 2 more of them to showcase my entire collection.
