    Im not posting this as a negative but actually a possitive so i'm gonna make in short and sweet:

    C.V legion = upscaled minicons

    C.V commanders = upscaled legends class

    Deluxes = upscaled scout class

    Voyagers = upscaled deluxes

    Weaponizers = upscaled voyagers

    Thats how i view them =)

    This. It's simple economics. Plastic is made from petrol. Petrol prices have gone up and the economy's in the tank. Therefore Hasbro's using less plastic, which means the toys will be smaller.
    That's all there is to this.

    It also costs more to ship them due to those increased oil prices, and as a result you want smaller, lighter figures to keep up with those costs as well.

    I see what you're doing there. You're trying to look at the bright side. The problem is that by that logic, everything doubled in price.

    Good point.

    Bottom line is that it's due to simple economics. Not a grand conspiracy involving MechTech.

    The bottom line is that Hasbro is trying to increase profits. Smaller products (TFs) or less accessories/articulation (GI Joes) and higher price tags = more profits. Less for more as it were.

    ^ The only answer in this thread that's actually on point. Bottom line is that Hasbro (like many global powerhouse multi-billion dollar corporations) simply realized they can get away with making smaller figures, sell them at higher prices and people will still buy them: period.
