OK guys, this is still a WIP but I had to show it to you guys. I'm working on doing a seaon 4 of TFA and where I would like it to go. One of the characters in my version, is my favorite Beast Wars character Depthcharge. Not so much a loner in my version, but def a character who is just as tough and really shows his dislike towards the cons like in the Beats Wars era. I'll be doing him in 3-D pretty soon so hope you guys like. will keep updating him as I come up with weapons and Bio and finalize on his alt modes.
Here is my next triple changer charcters. None other than the heroic autobot Springer. Still of course WIP I used the original head design from Derrick Wyatt. Still have to draw the alt mode but it will be similar to fans project warbot. Similar to the show, springer is a heroic and brave character. His helicopter blades will detach to form a double bladed staff. I figured there where plenty of characters who already have swords so I wanted to change it up a bit. I did two versions so I need you guys to tell me which one you like best and any ideas for color schemes are appreciated.
I think I like the one with the red colouration more. It looks more like the FansProject figure. Which other ones are you planning on doing? Broadside? Sandstorm? Astrotrain? Octane? Any others? Because these are extremely good. Keep up the good work.
Thanks man glad you like em. I'm working on Rampage for my final triple changer. There is an episode that I have written that tells more about the story on how Depthcharge and Rampage became enemies. I know Beast Wars already dove into that but i'm gonna go even further back than what they did. I like the shoulders on the torquise more but as for the color, either or would work for me.
I think springers body type should look closer to wheeljack, as in muscularity and heroicness! But that's just me.
Hmm. How about making the tertiary color a bright yellow instead of blue or red? Oh, and the Depth Charge would make a pretty good Alpha Trion, too.

DAMN!!! SPRINGER IS AWESOME!!! but...Wyatt says that its impossible for him to be a triple changer due to blitzwing and autobots cant fly. but...I STILL LOVE IT!!!
Thats very true my friend but I have a solution in my story for that specific episode. Since Blitzwing has been captured, Perceptor and Wheeljack have studied him and managed a way to Duplicate that technology. And since they already learned how to make Autobots fly (Jetfire & Jetstorm), Depthcharge and Springer were the first two to volunteer for the reformatting. Keeping in mind that triple changer technology is still in it's early testing stage for the Autobots and Perceptor is monitoring them. Glad you like em more to come soon
Give Depth Charge there Alpha Trion's head, then sit back a bit and squint. It's a close match, particularly with the color scheme and the round shoulder armor.
ok so i went back and used Wheeljacks muscular body type just to see if it fits. Tell me what you guys think.
Very nice Springer and Depthcharge! I think some cleaner lineart would do alot to boost up those pictures though, seems real fuzzy around the edges.
