I do like the Bludgeon idea, I may even make him a Pirate in homage to the canned Animated Bludgeon.

I'm trying to stay away from simple character-swaps from the show's roster and straight-redecos. I'm going for inspired looks. I'll probably have a few original decos, but those are often less interesting and since I'm also redesigning the overall character it makes it harder to nail them down on one theme.

 

Have Prowl's deco influenced by the Joker. A crazy, unpredictable psycho who does the first thing that comes into his head is pretty much the opposite of a zen-filled ninja warrior.

Hmm, I'll just make whichever one I can draw better. I have to be careful as I do want to add some out-of-TF lore references, but I don't want them to outweigh the TF-themed designs

I'm likin' these a lot! Wish I could draw like that. And I'm stumped, who are BB and Sari based on? And am I gonna be kicking myself when I'm told the answer? Cuz I hate that.

 

Bumblebee and Sari are based off of Big Daddy and Hit Girl from the (awesome) movie Kick-Ass.

Thanks! I don't know why but it seemed to work. I envisioned SG Bumblebee as a colder, more violent individual and then influencing Sari with those traits like the two influenced eachother in the show. Then I sort of carried the design elements over.

Lugnut's almost finished, though I'm not comfortable posting him just yet. I'm done with the body, just working out a deco. I decided not to base him off of anyone in particular, just himself with minor proportions and detail change to make him look like more like a... lovable lug than a threatening lug. I did have a variety of decos in mind ranging from the Hulk to Cybertron Lugnutz to, of all characters, Soundwave.

 

Prime looks great, altough to really pull off the BW Megatron look. Maybe it should needed the rubber ducky in it too. Starscream looks great. Bumblebee looks like Batman to me. Sari looks great too.

Do have some ideas. Since you made Prime look like BW Megatron. Mayber you could do Megatron with a BW Optimus Primal look too. Animated Swoop could be a BW Terrorsaur too.

 

hmmm,how interestin' also SG Omega Supreme being based on ARMAGEDROID from MLAATR would be a good fit. off topic,but yeah. i kinda see him as that.

I would, but the whole thing with prime was because is VA is david Kaye. I'm not going for a specific BW theme here. Though I like that people are giving me ideas.
