    Bought a bunch of junkers and parts and cobbled them together. Credit to Satomiblood for modifying a G1 Headmaster for me. I have NO idea what kind of alt mode (outside of the original Metroplex one) to turn him into.

    Kind of a ghetto 'bash overall, but I'm still looking forward to my 7-year-old opening it on Christmas morn'.

    UPDATE:

    I'd say I hit a home run based on my son's reaction when he opened it.

    He came up with names for all the figures:

    Headmaster = Laser Core
    Tank drone = Battle Roller
    Minicon = Thunderclash (natch)
    Combined form = Titan Maximus

    This was a very good Christmas for us both!

    The claw arm additions look really cool on this figure! I'm sure your son will love it.

    That's pretty cool. Alt mode to me looks like a tank, but I think your son should name it when he opens it Christmas morning.

    Awesome job. And the effort for your son makes it all the better. I have a feeling I may be doing some of these years down the road.

    Yeah, that's definitely cool. Looks like a lot of fun. Be proud of yourself as a dad and a creative person.
