    Okay, here's my "problem."

I recently purchased BB Prime. I have Leader Prime and Megs, but trying to get Voyagers to keep things in scale has been expensive and hard to do.

Now that I have Prime, I have both leaders (as well as The Fallen) in Voyager scale. I haven't yet purchased an Ironhide or Ratchet, but have BB Bumblebee and a few other deluxe Bots and Cons.

So here's my question: it's obvious that the Deluxe figures are too large to fit in with the Voyagers, or at least it appears that way to me.

So my question is: am I being too much of a stickler for scale? Getting Ironhide, Ratchet, and the other Voyagers I need (Blackout, Starscream) is going to be extremely costly at this point.

What do you guys do or what do you think?

Scale has ALWAYS been a problem in the TF world. I wouldn't worry about it as long as they look good together. Just get ones in the same class maybe?

It is actually very common, and nothing to be ashamed of.

    ... or so they say

Serious response: in the end you become less bothered by the differences in scale. It's pretty much a standard issue on transformers figures. Their scale goes by which characters are more popular and not by their "real" sizes.

So I should go for the Deluxe Ratchet and Ironhide?

I would definitely pick deluxe Ratchet - the vehicle mode is different, but I prefer the toy to the Voyager - it's much more posable in 'bot mode.

Solution: Get over it, Transformers figures aren't built in scale of each other.

If the scale bothers you, I guess you should go for deluxe Ironhide and Ratchet. I don't have either so I can't comment on them as toys though...Ironhide looks quite small in vehicle mode. Is he taller than deluxe Bumblebee?

I know Battle Blade Bee dwarfs deluxe Ironhide. I don't display deluxe Ironhide with any Bumblebees because of the size issue - he's just too small for me. I'm not completely obsessed with scale, but I try to match them up as best I can. I don't like glaringly obvious discrepancies.

There is no such thing as scale in Transformers! You're just trying to delude yourself!:p :

I think they should make Scout Sized Bumblebee, Sideswipe, and such to scale with Voyagers

Thank you for the info. I am not too fussy about the scale, either, but Ironhide smaller than 'Bee doesn't sound good at all. I'm glad I've got Recon ironhide :D

Deluxe Ratchet and Ironhide are both lovely toys, but the scale with the likes of Deluxe Bumblebee and Jazz is all wrong. You'd need a Scout Bumblebee and Jazz for the scale to even approach what it looks like on screen. You could use Legends, I guess. However, ultimately, I'd go with the figures you like the look of best and scale be damned.

Y'know...I've never really had a problem if a figure isn't in scale with anything else...really, all I care about is if the figure is a good one...that's all it comes down to for me.

scale bugs the shit out of me as well, but I do have bb bumblebee posed next to voyager prime and deluxe ratchet, ironhide and the ice cream twins. Not at all perfect but I can deal with it. I'd much prefer a scout class bee for it to work right, but I'm not sure if I'd bother to buy one if released Ive had enough of that design.
