After many many hours of painstaking work, I finally got this guy done. His metal parts were all dry-brushed using silver, steel, and aluminum. The blue on the sleeper compartment is Dupli-Color engine enamel Ford Dark Blue. I repainted his head in Model Masters chrome silver and Ford/GM engine blue. His swords are held in place using small magnets inside the forearms and a small screw inside the sword itself. His gun is from the 2007 Movie Leader Prime. The flames on the sleeper, doors and chest are vinyl decals that I printed and cut out. You might notice that the drivers door is the same as the passengers. That's because I couldn't find a good enough shot of the drivers side so I simply flipped the other side around. I had to make his flame stickers because I cannot afford Frenzy-Rumble's vinyl set as much as I would have loved to buy them. I also gave him license plates from NJ since that's where I live. They of course say PRIME. C&C welcomed. I hope you enjoy looking at him.
This is really nice. You make me want to do something similar, but I can't afford a new one if I do an unsatisfactory job.
Really like the vinyl flame stickers man. If you had done the ones for the hood and fenders, I'd be in on a set of those man. Makes life easier than painting and pinstriping em. Looks good man, really good.
Thank you I'm actually thinking of attempting a whole set. I just don't know if I'm brave enough to attempt to repaint the hood and have the colors fade together. When and if I do get a whole set of flames. I will post it to let anyone who's interested know.
Looks great! Can't get enough of prime! I'm about half way done with my prime but my biggest drawback is trying to accomplish the fading affect on the hood, I just can't get it right!
the fade isn't all that hard.. start in the middle with a light mist coat, go a little further toward the front with another light mist coat, a little more to the front with a mist coat, so on and so forth. Easy-peasy boys n girls.
