Some of us were talking about this before and I don't know if anyone had a solution. I died twice yesterday on Ratchet and Clank due to that stupid Wireless controller losing connection. One second Ratchet will be running in one direction and next he runs off a cliff because I lose control. It returns within seconds, but last night, those seconds were enough to send me flying into a lava pit. Has anyone figured out what causes that interferance or how to prevent it? I noticed that sometimes it happens more often than others and some weeks it doesn't happen at all. Has anyone else had this problem and found a way to fix it? I'm about to google it, but I wanted to see what anyone here had done about it.
I haven't run into any connection issues with my controllers. But could another blue tooth device be interfering with it?
That's what people on some gaming boards are saying. Maybe I need to turn off my connection to my headset for the time being since I'm not using it. Another temp solution that I have seen is people plugging the USB into it. Which kinda sux, but until the problem is fixed (if it's fixed )I don't mind doing it to keep poor Ratchet from dying needlessly and thinking that his controller it a ****. I have an extension to my USB for the keyboard so I'm going to try that this weekend. Tilting Sixaxis forward and back should be fun
Never had the issues myself. But then I hardly use my Uncharted player for gaming anyway :3 Although I did buy FOUR PSN games last night
Calling All Cars is a blast with Friends. Flow is awesome for relaxing. It really does sooth the senses, and I can't recommend HD Stardust enough. It's the same concept as Geometry Wars but blasting Rocks has never been so much fun. Oh and I just remembered... PAIN. That game is so damn strange but I was stuck on my machine for like an hour just seeing what I could destroy. It's basically the "CRASH" mode in Burnout, but with a human on a slingshot instead of a car. You basically send him off and see what kind of destruction you can cause. Oh and speaking of Uncharted. Now that I remember... the scene before you send the Jeep off the cliff... Nate went running off the cliff there too. I actually put the controller down because Nate started walking by himself and I thought it was the start of a cinematic. When he just walked off the cliff, I sat there and thought... Wow, that's so unlike him, until I saw the screen turn gray and said "Oh shit, my controller just bunked on me"
Pixeljunk Monsters is really good, and it has co-op so your missus might enjoy it too. I picked up Super Stardust HD, Pixeljunk Racers and some weird chicken Puzzle game but haven't tried any of those yet. I do reccomend Super Rub a Dub (made by the studio I work at ) and Calling All Cars if you have the controllers to play it local. Great party game.
Ok, so Pixeljunk Monsters is TT-approved? I had thought about picking that one up. Is it like an RTS?
Kinda, google "Tower Defense game" as it's pretty much that with a more interesting interface and mechanic. Really nice and good fun, espcially for $7 in English money. Looking forward to trying PixelJunk Racers tonight.
Thanks guys. I was really interested in Pixeljunk Monsters. Glad to hear it's worth picking up. I'm waiting for the PSN cards to show up in Targets. I have a giftcard there and would love to use it on that.
Hehe I wish we had those, the reason I bought so many games was to clear my "wallet" of money. Easily as annoying as points and I have no idea how to switch to paying for what I buy rather than putting cash in me wallet
I was under the impression the SIXAXIS controller used the same 2.4Ghz wireless technology as mice like the Logitech G7. I was unaware they were bluetooth. Sorry I can't help either, my control works flawlessly, although my PS3 is only a few weeks old.
You mean you're buying points on PSN? I thought it was "pay for what you want"? The only catch is anything under 5 bucks you have to pay 5 bucks. I pay 6 and change for PS1 games. I wonder if it's a setting.
That explains that then, I accidentally overfilled it and was all "Screw this! BUY BUY BUY!" Sony win again
If you bought that chicken game first, it might have tricked you into thinking that. Damn Chicken game is only 2.99, so when I thought to buy it, it said 5.00 bucks, so I thought sony had went the WII ways and was going to start charging in increments of 5.00 bucks, but then I bought stardust for the listed price, plus tax. So what we learn from this is that chicken games have a way of stealing your hard-earned money.
That's really really strange. I will definitely look and see what I am doing different, but next time I buy something, I will keep the email Sony sends me explaining how much I add to my wallet. I get things like $6.25 or things like that.
